I think he's still moldable because I think McCain is 'toast' and that will be evident to him very soon! I keep making up with new words that involve "able"...don't know what my deal is?
    Maybe you are well spokenable?

Somehow I don't think that is it! But thanks...that was a supportable comment!

I got pretty much the same story late yesterday when I called his Washington office. I explained to the staffer that it seemed to me that all they ever had to say was "No official statement has been released" and I was wondering why that was...Surely my elected official had an explanation for his constituents regarding his voting record and the rationale behind his decisions! I sternly reminded him that they were all there at the pleasure of the voters of the State of North Carolina and it would be in their best interest to take note that the voters had spoken clearly on this issue. He assured me he would pass my comments on to Senator Burr, so I asked him if he had taken good notes on the conversation, to which he replied , "Yes sir I did". I thanked him and told him I'd call back today and check his memory, and I hoped that the Senator would have his statement prepared by then !

I will call again today. After speaking to the desk clerk, we should ask for the immigration point person and leave a message with them too. I am not convinced any message gets past the desk clerk.
