    Can we start a new campaign?

    I think we all agree, no one wants REAL ID. But we need SOMETHING.

    Let's start a movement for replacement of the paper social security card.

    We should have one similar to a drivers license to include:

    Social Security #
    Name
    Address
    DOB
    Photo

    I wouldn't even mind a thumb print!

    This card would be much more dependable then the paper card AGAINST use by illegals. It couldn't be stolen and used as easily. And, the Basic Program could still be used as a double check.

    NCByrd, I have been saying this all along. We all have to have a social security card anyway. The only problem is, I don't think it can be tamper proof without a chip in it, and we don't want that. I think even with a thumbprint, it can be fraudently tampered with.

    There are lots of drivers licenses that are pretty safe without a chip. That is just an excuse to control us.
