The Case For Impeachment is Undeniable–Even if You Support Obama Care

To get support for impeachment hearings, the Congress will have to find violations that are so flagrant that even an Obama supporter can agree with them. I do not support Obama Care in any form, but even if I did, most of these are issues that liberals and conservatives can find agreement. Jonathan Turley was a supporter of the President when he ran for office, but even he agrees it may be time for Congress to act.
What I have attempted to do here is put together the case for impeachment so that even if a person likes Obama Care and thought the other scandals were political gamesmanship, one could support them.
Free Patriot reported recently on the House Hearings on Presidential Powers. In those hearings, Jonathan Turley of George Washington University submitted testimony on the function of the President of the United States under the U.S. Constitution. He wrote,
While the line between legislation and enforcement can become blurred, this view is generally reflective of the functions defined in Article I and Article II. The Take Care Clause is one of the most direct articulations of this division. The Clause states “[The President] shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed . . .” U.S. Const. art. II, § 3, cl. 4. It is one of the clearest and most important mandates in the Constitution. The Framers not only draw the distinction between making and enforcing laws, but, with the enforcement of the law, the Framers stressed that the execution of the laws created by Congress must be faithfully administered. The language combines a mandate of the execution of laws with the qualifying obligation of their faithful execution.
According to the Dictionary that Turley uses, Merriam-Webster defines “faithful” as “having or showing true and constant support or loyalty.” In looking at the President’s actions or lack thereof on the Affordable Care Act (aka Obama Care) does it appear that the Barack Obama met the standard of showing true and constant support and loyalty?
1) President Obama failed to meet with his Secretary of Health and Human Services on the Implementation of Obama Care.
Peter Schweitzer of the Government Accountability Institute reported that President Obama never had a one on one meeting with Kathleen Sibelius during the 3 years (2010-2013) leading up to Obama Care according to the White House calendar. However, he met with his other secretaries 277 times, and golfed 100 times. Given his lack of attention to the implementation to the program, it hardly seems that he was very serious about it. Perhaps he wanted it to fail?
As reported on Breitbart,
Schweizer said GAI also looked at White House visitor logs and found that whenever Sebelius went to the White House, it was for social functions with “dozens or hundreds of people.” And he noted that if Obama met with Sebelius and left the meeting off the books, Sebelius would be the only cabinet secretary whose meetings with the White House were concealed.

2) The President demonstrated great unfaithfulness and disloyalty by turning down free, qualified assistance. Instead, he spent over $1 Billion that went primarily to his cronies and the work was not completed in a timely or satisfactory matter.
It appears that the President blew $1 billion on a web site that IBM offered to build for free for the federal government. Congressman Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee was on Fox News ‘s American News Room. Bill Hemmer asked Chairman Issa about this.
Bill Hemmer: Was it proven today that an internet company offered to build the website for free but the government passed on it? Was that true? Did that happen?
Rep. Darrell Issa: It was stated under oath that it was true. No one argued that it wasn’t.

Issa further related that it would have been perfectly legal for the government to accept free help. Sadly, Barack Obama chose to spend $1 Billion dollars.
The Austin American Statesman reported on December 9, 2011 on the offer by IBM. Politifact confirmed the interview in which IBM’s CEO related in 2010 that he made the offer to Barack Obama to provide free consulting services and other services to the administration. Newt Gingrich had related the information during the Texas Presidential debates. The White House did not deny it.
“We could have improved quality and reduced the costs of the health-care system by $900 billion. … I said we would do it for free to prove that it works. They turned us down.”
3) As Free Patriot reported previously, the website continues to be inoperable. This was shown on air through CNN on 12-1-13. The President assured the website would work by the end of November, and it does not. It has continued not to work since that date, as demonstrated by the House Oversight Committee Chairman, Darrell Issa. Furthermore, his own adviser, David Plouffe has stated that the Obama Care program would not be functional until 2017. Yet Americans are expect to comply with it now.
5) Free Patriot reported previously, the website is a major security risk, more so than before it was “fixed.” It has exposed the American people to the risk of identity theft and does not allow citizens to be “secure .” Prior to this fix, security analysts in sworn testimony to Congress that the website be shut down until the data can be made secure. The “fix” has made the security aspects worse, not better. Failure to shut the website down and extend the mandate to the individual market show he has no regard, loyalty, or faithfulness to the American people.
6) Barack Obama’s actions have repeated show that he has not fulfilled the “take care” provisions of the Constitution as detailed above by Professor Turley and others through sworn testimony before Congress on Presidential Powers. He attempts to usurp the legislative authority, while failing to meet his obligation to “take care” and “faithfully execute.” He has not tended to his role in oversight. He has spent money fraudulently on things that were offered for free to the government. His expenditures reflect his desire to provide for political patronage with the aim of putting the American people in peonage.
7) Barack Obama has repeatedly demonstrated signs of mental illness, making him a risk to continue in the position of President.
Barack Obama has failed in upholding his oath of office. He has failed in his duty to “take care” in the constitution and pursued his own pleasures on the golf course and on various vacations while never meeting with his cabinet officer Kathleen Sibelius. By spending $1 Billion on a website to reward his friends when IBM offered the government for nearly free, he failed to “faithfully execute” in his oath of office. At the same time, he was busy persecuting anyone who opposed him through various government agencies. He has jeopardized the American people and made them less secure in their effects and persons. He has acted in manners that demonstrate he shows signs of mental instability and is unfit to lead a free people. He has lost the legitimacy to remain in office. There appears to be sufficient evidence to impeach the President of the United States based just on what this website has published. An expanded search would probably yield even more results.

What say you?

Notice I have not even mentioned Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Solyndra, Extortion 17, arming al Qaeda, and most of the IRS scandals all of which have their own possibilities for impeachment.

4) Millions have had their health insurance coverage canceled despite three years of rhetoric that to the contrary as reported by Free Patriot. The President knowingly lied to the American people and now have their health care at risk. Those who have spoken out have faced retaliation via the IRS, as Free Patriot previously reported.
