I wasn't at that one, I was still in California, I am just going to the next one. I am not going to let my fellow patriots get abused by themselves. I just can't find out if it would be legal for me to record this, without their knowledge. I will ask if I have to, but I have the feeling they will be falsely kind if they know there is a recording.

I'm no lawyer, but you might want to check if your state is one that allows secret tapings if one of the parties knows it's being taped, then it's legal.

Based on their past treatment and behaviour towards your group, you want to videotape it.

I agree you should check your state's recording laws. Read them carefully, because in some places, it's illegal to record other people without consent unless they are in public with a reasonable expectation of being seen (legislator's office should be considered public, no?)

Other places, it's not 'exactly' illegal, just cannot be used in court.
