Reid will use the clay pigeon move for the amendments.

So we work harder...send the Corsi book en masse, today!

Heard that Harry Reid is expected to invoke a 'rare parliamentary procedure' called the 'clay pigeon' in which there will be lots of stuff rolled into one Amendment.

Sure it sucks that we lost this cloture vote, BUT remember, it's not over yet!! They thogiht they couild sneak this through the Senate weeks ago! Still another cloture vote, and the final vote, AND then the House. Bush will use this cloture vote to try to create "momentum."

Some of the snakes in the Senate to hammer:
-Brownback (call his prez campaign office and tell them he has 0 chance of winning now!)
-Collins
-Ensign (head of GOP Senate fundraising, call him and tell them you will not support any GOP senator who just voted for amnesty)
-Webb (campaigned against amnesty & now supports amnesty!)
-Warner (retiring so probably doesn't give a S*&!)

BUT the House GOP caucus meeting today to vote on a one sentence resolution that they oppose Senate amnesty and that if it goes to the House they won't support it! Remember Pelosi says she wants 50-70 GOP House members to support this amnesty bill in the House

So, we can still work on the Senate, but not too early to call GOP House members & leaders:
-Brian Billbray
-John Campbell
-John Boehner etc.

BTW, Kevin James http://www.krla870.com/ great anti-illegal alien radio host in LA, said that while we should still fight this in the Senate, in the meantime, call and thank the following three GOP House members who are part of a group that is strategizing to kill the bill, i.e. to tell the White House/Senate et al that if this bill makes it to the House it is DOA (hopefully). I heard John Campbell discuss this earlier as well. The three to call & thank for organizing this effort (and to support them) are:
