CNN Produces “All in the Illegal Family” to get Americans Emotional about Illegal Invasion

The following quotes are from a CNN. Com article regarding the journey of an illegal alien mother and her 14 year old son, Jesús, from Guatemala, coming to America to reunite with the boys father, who lives in Mississippi.
It is written for one reason – to tug on the heartstrings of brainless Americans – the kind that read this clap-trap. Yeah, I know – What does that make me?
From Catherine E. Shoichet at CNN.com:
"It is a powerful need: to see the man who shaped your life from afar for almost 13 years. For 14-year-old Jesús and his mother, it was enough to propel them on a dangerous and illegal journey. They made it to America."

"…cloaked in predawn darkness, they climbed a ladder and scaled a 15-foot-high steel fence to cross into the United States. Border Patrol agents caught them within minutes. After one night in detention, they were released on this morning in late June and dropped off at the bus station…"

"Now that they've made it this far, Jesús has no doubt that the moment he's dreamed of his whole life is near. He is finally going to see someone he's long looked up to but never stood beside."

"Voy a conocer a mi papa," Jesús says. "I am going to meet my father."
The love story continues, describing the long journey. You see, the two just wish to reunite their family. It's a tale of love conquering all – even U.S. law.
There is a video that accompanies the article, chronicling their journey.
Here is what the video reveals that the article omits: This kid's father left them and snuck into the U.S. in 2001. That would make Jesús little more than 1 when the father left. By all accounts, he never went back. The kid says he misses his dad, but how can you miss someone you've never met?
CNN says for 13 years, the father shaped his life "from afar." How sweet.
The mother, traveling with Jesús, says she's coming to see her husband, because she "wants to help him, and her son – so he can go to school."
Help with what? Help with paying for his schooling, food, clothing and housing? That, of course, will be left to us, the idiot taxpayers.
Jesús says he misses his dad. Again, he's never met the man.
She goes on to tell the reporter that she left her 2 other children behind – an 18 yr old daughter and another son, 16.
What great parents! The father leaves behind 3 children and the mom abandons 2. Or did she? I'm sure she just assumes, and why wouldn't she, that the other 2 children will be more than welcome here in the land of plenty…of welfare.
But seriously – what parents do this?
During the entire segment, there is not a single mention of the fact they are breaking American law, or they have any threat of deportation. It's a fait accompli.
The video describes them having to leave all their possessions with the smugglers. The mother then says in Spanish, "My husband asked us if there's a way we can get money."
There's a stand up guy! He's asking her for money.
The video ends in Mississippi with a tearful reunion with the dad at the bus station.
Let me clarify that. You have to have once been there in order to reunite.
At the end, CNN flashes across the screen: "Immigrants like Jesús and his mother often end up in immigration court, fighting their deportation. His father has a hearing next year at which he's hoping to gain political asylum."
Next year? Here they are, in plain sight of everyone. He's been here illegally for 13 years and nothing has happened to him. What possible fear has she or her son?
He left his family, for what they don't say, and judging by his plea for money, he obviously has not sent a dime home to support them – and apparently, she was okay with that?
I wouldn't worry too much about any court appearance. The way things are going, by the time of his next hearing, Obama will have decreed that all 3 are U.S. citizens.
CNN wants us to feel sorry for this mother and son. I kind of don't. Neither looks malnourished or abused in any way. Judging by the kids pearly white teeth, they weren't doing too badly in Guatemala.
Jesús also says he's anxious to learn English. As far as that goes, he will evidently not be learning it from dear old dad, who appears not to speak a word, after being here for 13 years.
It's a love story for the ages. Makes you want to let them all in, doesn't it? I'm sure Catherine would agree – as long as they don't live within 50 miles of her.

It is simply amazing that people are falling for this. You see pictures of small children, but the vast majority of the illegals that are coming over are not small children at all, they are mostly teenagers or adults. Do any of them look malnourished? Are they missing teeth? Do they look like they are starving? The answer is no. This all was clearly orchestrated by one party and we know full which one. How can a nation of adults be so stupid? I cannot swallow this one. This is the media, pure and simple. There are not that many stupid people in America.
