Well, I'm sure Lahood has decided, but he just wants to keep it on the down-low.

I did a little research and from what I found, it looks like there's a vote in the Senate Finance Committee regarding CAFTA on Tuesday morning June 28th.

Also, Bush has sent the bill to Congress on June 23rd, which means that they only have 90 days to sign it into law. But I think there's a push to sign it as early as possible.

Also, the Bush administration is bribing members of both the Democratic and Republican parties as much as possible.

What a lot of calls and letters can do is make SOME of them think twice.

When they just say ...he supports free trade.....you know he or she will vote yes....

Most DEMS will vote no to please the AFL-CIO who backs the D party and does not like free trade.....true Bush repubs will vote YES but those like Tancredo will say no I believe.....there may be a few on the fence who can be persuaded to vote No!

CAFTA, if passed, will not be the end of the world. So much is already gone to Mexico, China and now India. The biggie is FTAA with the rest of Latin America. As I have said, introduce Argentinian beef and wheat and the American farmer is finished!

BTW Roses from my wife's Colombia were 2 for a $1 at my local UNIONIZED grocery. Your State Department helped the Colombian's get that started on the outskirts of Bogota in the name of stopping drugs production by having alternative crops. A big lie! We need to target our efforts better. No more Dems, they want to see Bush take the plunge. It's the GOP we have to work on.

Where I live I am over run and stuck with Dumbocraps. In the Senate I have Obama and Dickie "The Turban" Durbin. With that pair of bookends, their combined IQ is 4 points below a rock.

In the House I have Danny Davis, a member in high standing of the black caucus. IOW, if you ain't black, he don't wanna help ya'.

The only thing I can do is call those 3 worthless pieces of natural fertilizer and explain in very simple terms that a NO vote on CAFTA is a vote to knock dubbya off his rocking horsey. That is the one thing I can count on, the hatred they have for Bush is the one thing I can use to roll them.
