Seems to me, considering how supportive Jeff Sessions has been for our cause over the last couple decades, you could at least give him the benefit of doubt.

Oh, am I confused? Has Jeff Sessions not recused himself from the Russia investigation? I thought he had, and that's why Rob Rosenstein is in charge of it and why Rob Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller Special Counsel to investigate and prosecute it. I guess this was just Fake News.

Yes, you're confused because this is a different issue. We'll just call it "Uranium One" for now. This issue is concerning Hillary Clinton and Russia, not Trump's campaign and Russia.

Suggestion: Just holster your 'blank' shooting guns for now and give this a chance to evolve.

I understand it's a different Russia issue, but the basis of Sessions recusal in the Russia investigation was his own belief that he couldn't be fair in an investigation of Russia due to conflicts of interest, because he supported Donald Trump for President.

I don't know how you "evolve" out of that stupidity, except to admit an error, unrecuse yourself and jump back into doing your job.

That recusal was based on the Trump campaign & Russia collusion, not everything Russia. There is no "stupidity" in his actual recusal because he was involved in Trump's campaign. He simply followed the dictates of DOJ policy. Whereas you see a traitor to Trump and the country, I see an honorable and ethical man who actually did the right thing. I think most folks with a true understanding of the situation would agree with me on this.

I don't see Sessions as a traitor to Trump and the country. What is wrong with you? I see him as having made a stupid and ridiculous decision to recuse himself when there was absolutely no legal or constitutional need or basis for it, which has dramatically clouded this Presidency and to some degree weakened it, making it much more difficult for the President to push his agenda to fix our country and deliver on his promise to improve our relationship with Russia.

There was no collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign, and even if there was, there's no law against it, so why would an Attorney General recuse himself from an investigation of something that isn't even against the law to begin with, had it occurred, which it didn't???!!!!!

This is utter incompetence by Jeff Sessions, not treason. He thought he saw his shadow and jumped off the ship. He reminds me of that kid that jumps off the Yacht in the ETRADE ad.

This Breitbart story supposedly has been overridden stating that he did not recuse himself. there is a thread to that effect.

Carter Page is now chattering, vague talk and am sure there is a lot of chatter during campaign that you half listen to and Sessions does not want to be nailed for lying over frivolous un-meaningful talk - as he has stated in his jobs/roles, there are lot of talks, discussions, chatter. But not all are meaningful with follow thru.

It has gotten ridiculous. They tried to nail trump jr when hillary out and out definitely was involved in lies, coverups, pay to play schemes, misuse of funds & criminal actions & exposing emails as well as interfering with bernie's chance to be elected. She has been skating unharmed too; the special council should have been drawn up on her.

None of the leaks are accurate about anything, it's why hearsay evidence isn't allowed in a court room. Most normal people can't remember what they were doing, what they heard someone say, or what someone did last week, let alone months or now years ago. This "lying to the FBI" law if that's what it is needs to be repealed for this reason. Also, we need to pass a law that prohibits any FBI, federal of Congressional interrogation or any type of wiretapping or surveillance about political activities, because these are protected free speech and association rights and it's unconstitutional under the First Amendment for employee, agent or official of the government to target people in anyway who work in campaigns, who advise campaigns, or who support a candidate about their conversations, their meetings, phone calls, emails and any other political related speech and communications.

What's going on is dead wrong and must be corrected, pronto.

Trump called it McCarthyism and he is 100% right about that.
