Contact Senate Staff at their LOCAL/STATE offices

Hello everyone. This is my first post to ALIPAC.

I am an immigration control activist now living in San Diego. I am working very hard to defeat the illegal amnesty bill.

I have had some very good success contacting Senate staff members in the local/state offices, as opposed to trying to get through to Washington offices that are very hard to get through.

I have put up a web site that gives the Senate/Congress staff contact information:

    stoptheamnesty.com

So instead of just "Calling your Senator" you can ask for a specific staff member by name at one of the local/state offices, then present your position on the immigration bill as a concerned constituent. I have had only positive receptions to my calls.

Also, I recommend other activists call the Senate offices of all the Senators from states you have ever lived in. Just say you are from so and so neighborhood, town etc. You are from there, just not there now. Don't worry about being grilled about your address, local phone number, you don't want to get on any "lists".

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. I saw the great ALIPAC video on Lindsey Graham on Youtube - great job, what a traitor, suck up Lindsey Graham is!

Please stop by the web site:

    stoptheamnesty.com

gat the staff contact information for your Senator/Congressmen if your state isn't up yet, just request here and I'll get it up or post the contacts here.

For instance, here is key Mississippi Senator Trent Lott's staff contact info. Please try to contact these staff members by name, open a dialogue, let them know how you feel:

Hello-this is my first posting & I've never blogged before. I teach ESL in East LA so I see the impact of illegal immigration upclose & personal. I just attended the Tom Tancredo reception at the Nixon Library. There was a good-sized group there & I hope many of the same will attend Ted Hayes' rally next weekend (6-25). If we really are in danger of losing our country and culture if this bill passes, then it seems to me we should be doing considerably more than just calling, faxing, and emailing Congress. Are marches & rallies a good idea? Are any of you in the LA area going next Saturday?
