You're very welcome! I think if you go back and edit your first post deleting the period at the end of the sentence your link will work correctly.

My recent experience has been that it's from BOTH sides of the political aisle. There are alot of people who are just fed up with the monopoly of the 2 party system.

Then there are those such as myself, who have always been politically independent (since I was a little kid and we held mock elections if you can believe it!)

I don't know, but as a kid the sound of the word "independent" appealed to me. It felt like I wasn't confined to one particular "team". It didn't feel restrictive. And I've been that way ever since.

As an adult, I feel that the 2 party system is a danger to our country. What matters is vision, ideas, and integrity. Too many people today have sold their souls to their parties (politicians and politically involved citizens alike). I saw this first hand during my support of the Ron Paul campaign. The group think mentality among these people, was really pathetic. I believe it just makes people less open minded to another individuals ideas, and makes them feel they are the only ones with the right answers. I believe in what John Adams had to say about it:

“There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.â€

CSPAN should host all of the debates and take them out of the hands of the biased, agenda based media. As a taxpayer funded fuction of the government, the debates could be use to infom the public, rather than being subjected to and lied to by the pied piper that tells us who we are going to vote for.

Not a bad idea! I guess I'd drink to that.
Maybe the McCain/Obama debates would actually be interesting, if they were actually asked TOUGH questions...

I'll second that! Been preaching it for years but most of the electorate is so drunken on socialistic freebies they don't have time or inclination to respond to the suggestion.
