DAY LABORERS
This is something that I was not aware of the impact. This encourages illegal immigration.

Day laborers
Homeowners are the top employers of day laborers, many of whom are illegal immigrants, according to a national study released in January.
The study counted some 117,600 day laborers in the U.S. on an average day.

You should only hire licensed and bonded professionals because of poor workmanship, damage or loss and theft.
Oh, illegal aliens have a "no refund policy" and they don't offer a money back guarantee.

And day laborers do not even need a name or any other documents. And the idea that homeoweners are part of the problem infuriates me. What is come down to is cheap labor. When the work is not done right, there is nowhere that they can go and complain.
