Did You Know That 66% Of Americans Are Currently Living In A "Constitution Free Zone?" (And, Yes, That Includes The Second Amendment)

If you're not already aware of this, then it might surprise you to find out that well over half of Americans are now living in constitution free zones, according to the ACLU.

This was accomplished by the federal government through nothing more than assumed authority, which was reinforced by corrupt judges who might as well have wiped their fat asses with the Fourth Amendment. In other words, Congress never had any say in all of this. DHS just did it on their own, then got their friends at the DOJ to back them up.

The federal government actually claims that the US border is not subject to the constitution, and is therefore not protected against unreasonable searches and seizures. This is astounding, considering that 66% of Americans just lost their constitutional rights without any representation whatsoever. Worse yet, no one in Congress seems to care, which makes me wonder what they think we're paying them for.

This whole charade simply couldn't be more ludicrous. The rights guaranteed by the Constitution are never suspended for any reason, no matter where you happen to be at any given time. For example, when federal police are given permission to track down criminals abroad, they still must afford that criminal his full rights, despite the fact that they're on foreign soil. As far as the federal government is concerned, an American never forfeits his rights, no matter where he goes or what he does. In other words, a CBP agent can never, ever violate the Constitution in any location on the globe, especially considering that he swore an oath to it. And that oath did not include any geographical exemptions!
And while the idea of suspending the rights of Americans at the border is outrageous enough on its own, the federal government has actually declared the border to extend 100 miles inland, which is about as legal as you moving your fence 100 feet into your neighbors yard.

This edict was issued in response to those who challenged what have come to be known as immigration check points, which are popping up at random all over the Southern US. While CBP claims to be looking for illegal aliens, I think we all know how ridiculous that sounds, considering that they couldn't seem to care less about our actual border. It's obvious that this has absolutely nothing to do with stopping illegal immigration, but rather with systematically usurping the Constitution.

That means you can be subjected to random searches and seizures, as well as illegal and indefinite detention, anywhere within 100 miles of a border or coast. This includes most of our nation's major population centers, such as New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami, among many other large cities. To see if you live in a Constitution Free Zone, please visit this ACLU webpage.

As you can likely understand, this is causing some major headaches to those living close to the border, especially the Southern border, where CBP is constantly running Nazi style checkpoints. In some places in the US, just going to work or school makes you subject to random stops and searches, even though you might not be anywhere near the border. While CBP claims that they're only looking for illegal aliens, they usually have drug dogs, and they often ask to search cars for undisclosed reasons, often detaining the driver for hours if they are uncooperative. Denying an agent permission to search can have a wide range of consequences, ranging from unlawful detention and intimidation, all the way to having your windows broken and being dragged out and roughed up a little.

All of these outrageous rights violations might be slightly more palatable if the CBP was in the least bit concerned with stopping illegal immigration. As we know all too well, however, no one in the federal government has any interest whatsoever in stopping illegal border crossings, or even in deporting those who they catch red handed. While they're buying bus tickets for real illegals, CBP is hassling Mr. and Mrs. America on their way to work.

Just the idea of a checkpoint should be totally unacceptable to every American, as it's by its very definition a form of unlawful detention. When you drive through a CBP checkpoint, you are forced to come to a stop and answer questions, at the very least, and you're not free to go until they say so. If you try to blow through it, you're likely to get shot, and you will undoubtedly be chased down like a dog and charged with evading, despite the fact that you have done absolutely nothing wrong. According to the Fourth Amendment, a person can only be detained by police in the presence of a warrant, which must clearly state who is to be seized and for what reason. Randomly detaining everyone who is driving on a particular highway is obviously not allowed.

And please don't bore me with semantics. Detention and seizure are the same thing. The bottom line is that men with guns are forcing people to stop and submit to their demands. If that's not a seizure, then I don't know what is. Just because they usually let you go doesn't change the fact that they did in fact seize you. The DOJ can call it "detainment" all day long, but semantics doesn't change the nature of what's happening. In fact, logically speaking, don't you first have to "seize" someone before you can "detain" them? Again, the bottom line is that men with guns are forcing innocent Americans to submit to detention, however temporary it might be, and they are authorized to hurt you if you don't comply. Semantics, no matter how well executed, can't hide the fact that these operations are conducted on a non-voluntary basis under the threat of extreme violence for non-compliance. Trying to make an end run around the Constitution by using such cheap tricks is as insulting to our intelligence as it is treasonous.

The future implications of these checkpoints are also terrifying, to say the very least. If your Constitutional Rights can be so easily suspended while in your car, which is legally considered to be an extension of your house, then what else can federal police get away with? How much longer will it be before police make random house-to-house searches, under the guise of looking for illegal residents? Legally speaking, there's really no difference between a random checkpoint and going block-by-block to ask everyone for their papers. Sounds a lot to me like a movie called Schindler's List. Maybe that's a bad comparison, though, considering that the Nazis were a lot more objective than our own federal police.

Perhaps the most disturbing thing about this entire situation is that reports are coming in now about CBP officers asking drivers if they have any firearms. Is this the real agenda behind the CBP's invasion and occupation of mainland America? Is the CBP being militarized ahead of a gun grab operation? And are they trying to slowly desensitize us by asking such invasive, unconstitutional questions?

While it's too early to tell, I would offer you this. The CBP is currently only operating their highly illegal checkpoints in Southern states, despite the fact that they're responsible for all of America's borders and coastlines. And before all you liberals say something stupid about Canadians not coming here illegally, remember that we have already established that the Border Patrol doesn't give a damn about illegal immigration. I would make the claim, rather, that CBP is targeting Southern states because they're traditionally much more conservative, and therefore represent a much greater threat to the federal government. In my opinion, illegal immigration on the Southern border is just a convenient excuse to beef up federal police activities and usurp the rights of the Southern states.

Essentially, what we're seeing is the federal occupation of the Southern states. Should they get out of line, or even try to secede, DHS will already have a massive standing army ready to go to be repurposed. And, because they just happen to be on the border, the states themselves have absolutely no recourse to kick the fed out, especially now that the courts have grabbed up everything 100 miles inland.

As you can see from the photos, the Border Patrol has become perhaps the most militaristic of all of the fed's paramilitary organizations, with capabilities and equipment to rival those of any Army unit in the Middle East. Crazier still, CBP officers actually wear military rank insignia! For example, a CBP Enforcement Officer wears a first lieutenant's silver bar, while a Canine Officer wears a captain's bars. A Supervisory Officer gets a Major's gold oak leaf, and a Chief CBP Officer gets a lieutenant colonel's silver oak leaf. A Watch Commander can be identified by his full bird insignia, typically worn by a full Colonel in the US Military. Even the highly coveted general's stars aren't safe from being bastardized. Yes, the CBP actually has a four star general! They just call him the Assistant Commissioner, which begs the question: is the Commissioner himself a five star general, a rank that can only be held by one military commander and only during war time?

Tell me. When law enforcement gets military training, military equipment, military uniforms, and military insignia; then at what point do they cease to be law enforcement? After all, is a duck not still a duck just because it's employed by DHS? At what point will the fed just give it up and admit that they're building a domestic army and using it to police US citizens as if they were in Fallujah? Perhaps a better question would be to ask when the American people will admit this to themselves, instead of burying their heads in the sand. My guess is that the average American will never admit that they've been had by their own politicians, their egos far too fragile to contemplate the idea that their government has been overtaken by a vast unilateral conspiracy right under their noses. Even as patriots are rounded up and put into reeducation camps, the average American will still be waiting for their own personal hero in Washington to come to the rescue, unable to comprehend the fact that even the most outwardly conservative Congressman is nothing more than a globalist bench warmer.
