DNC Interim Head: Don’t Let ‘White Boys’ Win

The new interim head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has a colorful history, which includes demanding former President George H.W. Bush confess to an extramarital affair and a belief that “white boys” shouldn’t be allowed to win.

Donna Brazile is set to take over the DNC from Debbie Wasserman Schultz as soon as the Democratic convention in Philadelphia wraps up. Brazile has worked as a political strategist and Democratic party operative for over thirty years, going all the way back to a job on Jesse Jackson’s 1984 effort in the Democratic presidential primary.

In 1988, Brazile was working for Michael Dukakis’ presidential campaign when she made an ill-fated decision to believe an unsubstantiated rumor about George H.W. Bush having an extramarital affair.

“George Bush owes it to the American people to fess up,” Brazile said.“The American people have every right to know if Barbara Bush will share that bed with him in the White House.”

Brazile’s comments were widely denounced as offensive. The Dukakis campaign disavowed them a day later and Brazile resigned from the campaign.

But Brazile’s career was hardly finished, and she didn’t lose her penchant for bold remarks. More than a decade later, she was the campaign manager for Al Gore’s presidential campaign and told The Washington Post she was determined not to let “white boys” defeat her.

“[It’s not a] gender or race, it’s an attitude. A white-boy attitude is ‘I must exclude, denigrate and leave behind,” Brazile told the Post in 1999. “They don’t see it or think about it. It’s a culture.”

Brazile talked up her ability to be blunt and rude if necessary.

“I had to decide if I’d be a bitch or a whore. I chose bitch,” she told the Post. “I’d have to be strong, tough, abrasive. But I also knew I could be fair.”

Unsurprisingly, Brazile hasn’t emerged unscathed from the DNC email leak either. In one leaked email, Brazile says she “will cuss out the Sanders camp” if she talks to the press about them. The DNC is supposed to be neutral between the different primary campaigns within the Democratic party.

You know, that really sounds like a Big Bad Bully to me. Funny isn't it? DemoQuacks can call everyone any name they want, a bully, a racist, a xenophobe, an islamaphobe, a misogynist, a carnival barker, a clown, "white boy", and on and on and on, yet if 20 years ago Trump called Rosie O'Donnell a "pig" or someone a "dog" on the Howard Stern radio show, he's unfit to be President.

Well, no, that doesn't make him unfit to be President at all. And we don't even know for sure he said these things in the way they're presented, they leave out the context, they separate it from the show biz environment in which they were presented, they have nothing to do with him and how he actually treats women in his professional and personal life, yet DemoQuacks want to wail about "tone" and "rhetoric'.

Well, the "blunt and rude" is soaring in the DemoQuack Party. It will prove hollow, empty, without merit or relevance. Running PAC ads focusing on statements by Donald Trump taken out of context and implying they mean something they didn't, is demeaning to the groups they claim to be standing up for which in our language means they're being EXPLOITED for political gain.

SHAME ON YOU, DEMOCRATS. You have no honor, your word is not our bond, if you cared about children, you would have used the last 8 years to rebuild our cities and rid them of ghettos, you would have improved our schools in these areas, you would have put the unemployed in these areas back to work ..... but you didn't, despite unprecedented government spending, you did NOTHING to help anyone in this country except the elites of your party who the best I can tell so far became tens of millionaires selling their "influence" to foreign governments, foreign interests, and multi-national corporations dreaming of a Global Oligarchy.

That is a racist remark and you cannot categorize all people in the same way. What a fool!

Change the words around from white to black and let it come from a white person.....who does that sound like?

Democrats never mentioned ISIS, jihad, or terrorism on Day One of DNC

JULY 26, 2016 10:54 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER

Politifact is not really a fact-checking site; it’s just another propaganda arm of the far-Left. So if even they are saying this, the problem is acute and clear. For the Democrats, jihad terror is just not a priority. The fact that there was no mention of it whatsoever on the first day of their convention is abundant illustration of that, whatever they might say on the second or third day. They’re much more interested in climate change and pandering to their various interest groups.

Meanwhile, Germany and France are on fire, and because of policies still endorsed by the Democrats and numerous influential Republicans, that fire is coming here.

“Politifact: Democrats never mentioned terrorism on Day One of DNC,” by Tyler Pager, Politico, July 26, 2016:

Republicans’ claim that Democrats did not mention terrorism or ISIL on the first night of the Democratic National Convention is correct, Politifact said Tuesday morning.

Following Monday night’s speeches, Republicans blasted the Democrats for a lack of focus on terrorism from the 61 speakers.

“Based on our searches of C-SPAN closed-captioning text, Congressional Quarterly transcripts and other video archiving services, we couldn’t find any speaker who mentioned “ISIS,” “Islamic” “terror,” “terrorist,” or “terrorism” during the first day of the convention,” Politifact wrote.

The fact-checking website did add the caveat that the Democrats still have three days to discuss terrorism at the convention and the first day of the convention was not meant to focus on foreign policy. Additionally, Hillary Clinton on Monday called for action against ISIL at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“We need to lead other countries in stopping ISIS, Al Qaeda, and other radical jihadist groups,” she said. “We shouldn’t leave that to the rest of the world to figure out on their own. That won’t keep us safe.”
