    The fate of the DREAM Act in the Senate hinges on seven Republican senators, according to a senior White House official.

    In a conference call with reporters this morning, Cecilia Munoz, White House director of intergovernmental affairs, said, “It looks very much like the outcome [of the Senate DREAM Act vote] is going to depend on whether we have that level of Republican support,â€

    Because all versions of this bill are murky , they have not been vetted through committee or the CBO , how could anyone vote for it?

    They need 60 to proceed , I don't think they have it

    I don't see how they can get to it

    Keep in mind the repubs vowed to not allow anything to come to the floor
    until we had a deal on tax extensions and funding the govt

    While somewhat of a deal supposedly has been reached , it still has to pass the house and senate , and that is far from a done deal
