    Outstanding Op-Ed piece, thanks Soffia!

The one thing that goes unaddressed in much of this is that BushCo is VERY AWARE of the corporate diversions which detract the attention from the real issues. American Idol, iPhones, etc...

The government and it's big business pals ALL benefit from the illegals, from porous borders, and by not enforcing those laws, it just continues ad infinitum.

The OpEd author is right, if we don't take it back AS citizens, if we don't make a change soon, if the middle class doesn't WAKE UP FROM IT'S CONSUMERISM MENTALITY...we're doomed.

Las Vegas.... Yea from all the building going on there I would be surprised if there was at least a million out there... When an areas economy is doing good then the illegals come! Businesses build more houses, stores, and other businesses open up and need "cheap labor" so they flock to these areas!!! Again like Long Island where home owners are to lazy to cut there lawns and do home maintenance so they hire a contracting company that hires illegals that drive in CDL trucks with no licenses and little care... Thats ok thats what a cell phone cam is for to snap pictures of the trucks and report them to MOD EDIT

The illegals are in the building sector - and 2 years ago when we were out there, they were throwing up those dirt dauber houses so fast it was unreal.

Also, the illegals do the maid work, maintenance work, kitchen staff, etc. - all of it. They are also chefs in many of the big hotels. There are scads of them there.

Oops forgot about that one! Funny to bring that up businesses out east, Montauk, the Hamptons and Riverhead was complaining that due to all the illegal immigration disputes is scaring away there "seasonal labors" for restaurants, hotels, deli's, and other service providing business out there and it would hurt there businesses if they couldn't hire illegal workers... Well if they paid a decent wage you can have Americans work in you over priced Hotel or deli for the season! Businesses got to comfortable by cutting there salaries and raking in a larger profit by not hiring Americans!
But then they have the nerve to charge almost 30% more for anything out there to soda, food, lodging, anything!!!!
