Exposed: Obama Admin & Muslim Brotherhood Involved in Weapons Trafficking

The common cause between the U.S. and the Brotherhood sheds new light on the Obama administration’s support for the regime of Mohammed Mursi. National security investigations in Egypt discovered that under the regime of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt procured weapons after receiving them from Sudan and Libya before shipping them on to Syria to arm rebels.
Now evidence from Middle Eastern sources reveals common interests between the Barack Obama administration and Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood regime with respect to weapons trafficking.

Previously, Shoebat.com reported that the U.S. presence in Benghazi was about weapons trafficking to Syria, and now, with an official ongoing investigation in Egypt the case is made that the Muslim Brotherhood regime there did as well.
According to a report from Youm7, Khairat al-Shater, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Deputy Supreme Guide at the time – and the real power behind Mursi’s regime – is the one responsible for running that operation along with “some leaders” of the Muslim Brotherhood. For a time, al-Shater was the Muslim Brotherhood’s preferred choice for president in Egypt but he was disqualified for having been to jail too much and was ultimately replaced by Mursi, as Shoebat.com reported at the time.
In fact, a top Muslim Brotherhood figure who is referenced in the report – Safwat Hijazi – admitted that he was involved in shipping weapons to Syria. This claim is backed up by several videos that feature Hijazi making stating as much. In this example, Hijazi both admits to and reiterates that he had been doing just that (3:00 mark):



The claims relayed by Youm7 also bolster much of our earlier findings in investigations about Egypt’s involvement in the Benghazi attacks as well as why the Obama State Department seemed more interested in one particular Muslim Brotherhood leader than in President Mohammed Mursi.
Evidence from Libyan intelligence (EXHIBIT B of our exhaustive and ongoing report) reveals an Egyptian connection to the Benghazi attack. The Libyan Intelligence document dated a few days after the attack relays the accounts of six Egyptians arrested at the scene. Among the names of individuals identified by these Egyptians as having been behind it were President Mursi and Hijazi.

It was to Libya that Safwat Hijazi attempted to flee but was arrested and imprisoned after Mursi’s removal.
It was Safwat Hijazi who launched Mursi’s campaign in a fiery, anti-Semitic speech speaking of Jerusalem becoming the capital of an Islamic caliphate under Mursi.



(In the video above Mursi can be seen sitting behind Hijazi. Seated next to Mursi was al-Shater’s boss, Mohammed Badie) Sudan’s involvement is significant. It is still designated as an official State Sponsor of Terrorism, though Obama has expressed a desire to ease these relations, as Shoebat.com has demonstrated.
An individual who could be implicated in such an operation is Obama’s brother Malik Obama, who works for al-Bashir’s Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO).
In fact, in the weeks after Mursi’s removal from power, al-Shater’s son was arrested after reportedly making some bold claims about connections between his father and Barack Obama. As we relayed in Addendum F of our “Ironclad” Report, explosive claims of what Saad al-Shater told the Anatolia News Agency were revealed:

(Saad) said that his father had in his hand evidence that will land the head of United States of America, president Obama, in prison… (and that)… his father’s safety is more important to the Americans than is the safety of Mohammed Mursi.

An Associated Press article published a couple of weeks later backed some of this up by reporting that Egyptian officials acknowledged the younger al-Shater had threatened to release documents showing a connection between his father and Barack Obama.

He (Saad) stressed that the senior U.S. delegation currently visiting Egypt, knows full well that the fate, future, interests and reputation of their country is in the hands of his father, and they know that he owns the information, documents and recordings that incriminate and would condemn their country.

The U.S. delegation Saad would have been referring to included Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, as well as Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns.
In the weeks after Mursi’s removal from power, McCain and Graham traveled to Egypt in an effort to negotiate the release of Muslim Brotherhood leaders. While there, they made the argument that unless this was done, there would be all out bloodshed in Egypt. It was clear the two Senators were trying to sow the seeds of panic and urgency in order to get Gen. Abdel Fatah el-Sisi to do what they wanted; that did not happen.

At about the same time, Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns was also in Egypt. One of the items on his agenda was to secretly meet with al-Shater. This was done under cover of darkness, according to ABC News as relayed by Shoebat.com. In addition to Burns’ meeting with al-Shater on a “late Sunday night” in “Tora Prison”, attempts were made by al-Shater’s then Chief of Staff – and former Clinton Foundation employee Gehad El-Haddad – to diminish the significance and duration of the meeting after attempts to say it didn’t happen at all, failed.
Within two weeks of these failed attempts to negotiate the release of Muslim Brotherhood leaders from prison, international media attention was shifted away from Egypt and toward Syria, when a chemical weapons attack occurred. Despite relentless efforts by the Obama administration and members of Congress – including McCain and Graham – to blame the attack on Syria’s Assad regime in order to justify air strikes intended to help the Syrian jihadists, evidence continued to mount that the jihadists themselves were responsible. We’ve chronicled much of this evidence at Shoebat.com.
According to the very credible veteran journalist Seymour Hersh (broke the My Lai massacre and Abu Ghraib scandals), the U.S. Mission in Benghazi was about procuring and shipping weapons to Syria through Turkey and that then CIA Director David Petraeus ran that operation. This would give Al-Shater and Petraeus common cause with respect to weapons trafficking. That is, until the Benghazi attacks, a consequence of which was the end of Petraeus’ operation. Hersh’s sources revealed that this greatly angered Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who urgently wanted an excuse for Obama to attack Assad.
That excuse came nearly one year later with the chemical attack and that Turkey was behind it; American politicians played along.
If Hersh is correct, Ergodan was getting increasingly desperate for U.S. assistance in his war against Assad after the Benghazi attacks. This desperation must have grown exponentially overnight with the removal of Mursi in Egypt. Less than two months later, the chemical attack happened in Syria.
Any role al-Shater had in shipping weapons from Sudan and Libya through Egypt to Syria would have come to a screeching halt with the ouster of Mursi. If the cessation of Petraeus’ operation in Benghazi angered Erdogan, the removal of the Muslim Brotherhood – to include al-Shater – from power in Egypt would have angered Erdogan for very similar reasons.

NEW YORK – The controversy that developed in 2012 when Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and four other GOP members of the House sent letters to the inspector generals at the departments of Homeland Security, Justice and State asking for an investigation of the influence played by the Muslim Brotherhood on U.S. government officials in the Obama administration took on new light last week.

On the distribution list of the “smoking gun” email released in the Benghazi probe last week was a figure with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Medhi Alhassani, who shares a similar background with Huma Abedin, the longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, reported former PLO-member and Arabic-speaking researcher Walid Shoebat.
As WND reported, Abedin had been a particular concern of Bachmann and other GOP congressmen who were calling for further investigation of the Muslim Brotherhood influence on the White House.
The email released last week in a FOIA request by Judicial Watch was from Ben Rhodes, a White House special assistant in the Office of the Chief of Staff of the National Security Council.
“It is obvious that as a Muslim Brotherhood operative, Alhassani wanted to blame the video for the violence that erupted in the Middle East,” Shoebat commented, referring to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. compound at Benghazi.
“This aligned the Muslim fundamentalists with the Obama administration in at least one respect – each had a stake in blaming the video.”
WND has reported that in criminalizing the Muslim Brotherhood and prosecuting key Muslim Brotherhood leaders, Egypt’s military government has sought to embarrass the Obama administration for the support it gave the now-deposed government of Muslim Brotherhood lead Mohamed Morsi.
WND has also reported that Egyptian terrorists with ties to the Morsi government and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt were perpetrators in the terrorist Benghazi attack.
The Muslim Student Association connection
Alhassani was the president of the Muslim Student Association, MSA, at George Washington University in 2005 and 2006. He served internships with the White House, the State Department and the Labor Department while also working for the Managed Assets Department of the financial company Ferris Baker and Watts, according to a biography published in a document titled “Participants at the Citizen Dialogue Group” posted on the website of the Islamic Institute of Boston, or IIB.
In 1981, the MSA founded the Islamic Society of Boston in conjunction with Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was subsequently convicted to federal prison for 23 years for providing funding to terrorist organizations, including al-Qaida, with the guidance of Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi.
Before he was sentenced to federal prison for terrorist activities, Alamoudi served as an Islamic-affairs adviser and State Department “goodwill ambassador” to Muslim nations under former President Bill Clinton. He met with senior Clinton and Bush administration officials in his capacity as the head of the American Muslim Council.
The Islamic Society of Boston is where the Boston Marathon bomber suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev worshiped.
In 2001, just after the 9/11 attacks, an article published on Scholastic.com established that Alhassani, when he was a teenager, worshiped at the Islamic Center of Boston’s mosque in Wayland, Massachusetts.



Benghazi email

Huma Mahmood Abedin served on the board of the Muslim Student Association at George Washington University in 1997, a year after she was hired to work on Clinton’s staff.
Subsequently, Abedin served as the “body woman” to manage Hillary’s personal needs during her 2008 campaign for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.
In the first term of the Obama administration, Abedin served as deputy chief of staff for Secretary of State Clinton.
Shoebat pointed out there is “overwhelming evidence” the Muslim Student Association is a Muslim Brotherhood front.
The David Horowitz Freedom Center’s Terror Awareness Project pointed to documents seized by the FBI and entered as evidence in a Texas court showing the Muslim Student Association is “a legacy project of the Muslim Brotherhood.”
The report says the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood has always been the establishment of a world global Islamic state.
“The Brotherhood is an organization formed by Hitler-admiring Muslim named Hasan al-Bannain in Egypt in 1928. It was designed to function as the spear point of the Islamo-fascist movement and its crusade against the West. The Brotherhood spawned al-Qaida and Hamas. Its doctrines make up the core of the terrorist jihad conducted by organizations such as Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the government of Iran. Its agendas have been clear since its creation: infiltration, subversion and global terror with world conquest as the goal.”

A common link between Medhi Alhassani and Huma Abedin is Indian-born Muslim Farah Pandith.

The Citizen Dialogue that posted the biography of Alhassani on the website of the Islamic Institute of Boston also lists Pandith as a member. Her biography says she was director for Middle East Regional Initiatives for the National Security Council in the White House, responsible for coordinating U.S. policy on Muslim outreach, a position she held from 2004 to 2007.
In March 2006, Pandith helped organize a conference in Belgium called “Muslim Communities Participating in Society: A Belgian-U.S. Dialogue” that brought together with their Belgian counterparts several U.S. Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations, including the Islamic Society of North America, ISNA; the Council on American Islamic Relations, CAIR; the Muslim Public Affairs Council, MPAC; and the Muslim Students Association of the U.S. and Canada, MSA.
On Sept. 15, 2009, Secretary of State Clinton presided over a State Department ceremony in which Pandith was sworn in on the Quran to her new position as State Department special representative to Muslim communities.
On Sept. 19, 2009, Pandith spoke at a White House Iftar dinner held to honor her appointment as Clinton’s representative.
At about the 3:00 mark of her speech, Pandith made reference to Abedin, explaining it was the 13th Iftar dinner “shared” by both Abedin and Clinton.
Later in the speech, Pandith pointed to Clinton as being responsible for breaking new ground by beginning Iftar dinner Eid celebrations, starting in 1999.
Clinton later corrected Pandith, saying the practice started in 1996, the same year that Abedin first joined Clinton’s Senate staff.
Shoebat published a photograph showing Pandith and another unidentified woman with Huma Abedin, taken in what appears to be a State Department office.
In September 2013, Shoebat reported that two days after the Benghazi attack in which U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed and the day before White House staffer Medhi Alhassani was copied by White House the “smoking gun” email on Benghazi written and distributed by Ben Rhodes, Pandith joined Secretary of State Clinton in the State Department’s Ben Franklin room to celebrate Eid.

Documents leaked ahead of trial of Muslim Brotherhood leaders

NEW YORK – Two new, classifed documents leaked by Egyptian security implicate President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton in the aiding and abetting of terrorists.
The documents have been entered as evidence in the criminal trials of former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and other top Muslim Brotherhood leaders, scheduled to begin next month in Cairo.

Obtained by Arabic-speaking former Palestinian Liberation Organization-member Walid Shoebat and posted Thursday on his website, the two leaked documents provide evidence Egyptian security forces have monitored the movements and activities of Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama, and his Islamic Dawa Organization, or IDO. The security forces also have kept an eye on the dealings with the Muslim Brotherhood of Essam El-Haddad, the father of Gehad El-Haddad, a senior adviser to the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States and a former employee of the William J. Clinton Foundation.

Malik Obama’s alleged terrorist ties
Shoebat referenced the publication of the leaked documents in Arabic by the Al-Masry Network in Egypt as evidence Malik Obama’s organization is the main sponsor of the effort to Islamize the Nuba area, Aswan and Luxor.
“The Aswan region is a territory in southeastern Egypt that borders northern Sudan, which includes a long stretch of the Nile River,” Shoebat wrote. “During the Mohammed Morsi regime, both Egypt and Sudan (under Omar al-Bashir) would have presented an opportunity to work toward the slow erasure of the border between the two nations. Such negotiations in Aswan would have predictably caused Egypt’s Security Forces great concern.”
Shoebat noted the Al-Masry report indicated that Malik Obama’s role with the Sudanese branch of IDO is much more significant than previously thought.
According to Shoebat’s translation from the original Arabic, the article says in part:</sub>

_{“Authorities within Egypt’s security apparatus have warned over the past two and a half years of the movements of the Islamic Dawa Organization (IDO), based in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, headed by businessman Kenyan owner Aboonju Obama (Malik), the elder brother of U.S. President Barack Obama, according to security authorities who are privy to the details of the investigation. One official said the organization and its president, a close friend of the President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir, support the Muslim Brotherhood with money, as well as the international organization of the group.”}

<sub>Shoebat further notes the Al-Masry report suggested that Malik has headed not only the Kenyan branch of IDO but the Khartoum-based organization that is “overseen by Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.” Malik Obama’s role allegedly includes assisting and regulating the global Muslim Brotherhood agenda.
In November, WND reported Egyptian lawyers had filed criminal terrorist charges in the International Criminal Court against President Obama in addition to the criminal terrorism charges previously filed in Egyptian courts against Malik Obama.
WND reported in August that Tehani al-Gebali, the vice president of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt, gave a speech and participated in an interview broadcast on Egyptian television, identifying Malik Obama as “a major architect” managing investments for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
On Sept. 7, 2011, two years before the IRS targeting of conservative groups became a national scandal, WND reported the Barack H. Obama Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt raising operated by Malik Obama in Kenya, appears to have received IRS approval one-month from the application submitted in May 2011. The IRS determination letter dated June 11, 2011, granted a highly irregular retroactive tax-exempt approval only after the group came under fire for operating as a 501(c)3 foundation since 2008 without ever having applied to the IRS for a tax determination.
“Malik Obama’s prominent role as Executive Director of the IDO, at minimum, implicates his brother in a serious conflict of interest matter relative to national security,” Shoebat said.
“That Malik was given illegal tax-exempt status by Lois Lerner may implicate his brother, President Barack Obama, as an accessory to terror funding, which is why Lerner should be granted immunity for her testimony,” he said. “So far, members of Congress who sit on such committees have shown no desire to do this.”

Problems in Egypt for Hillary and Bill
In September 2013, Gehad el-Haddad, openly known to be a senior Muslim Brotherhood official who had worked for five years at the William J. Clinton Foundation, was arrested in Cairo and charged with inciting violence. Until the arrest, el-Haddad was one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s top communications officials in Egypt as well as a top adviser to Morsi.

In December, Shoebat documented that el-Haddad’s father, Essam el-Haddad, was also in custody in Egypt for his close association with the Muslim Brotherhood while serving as an aide to Morsi.
Both father and son are now in Al-Agrab, a high-security prison in Egypt, with their assets seized by Egyptian government, while they await trial on espionage charges. The charges include working with Clinton while she was secretary of state to coordinate between the Morsi government and the Obama administration, allegedly in the interest of inciting violence in Egypt to solidify political control for key Muslim Brotherhood leaders active in Egypt as terrorist operatives.
“Further evidence that Gehad el-Haddad is not just an innocent victim of circumstance has to do with the family he married into,” Shoebat noted.
“His wife is the daughter of Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid, who is a leader within the Muslim Brotherhood Guidance Bureau. Gehad is also the nephew of Mohammed Ibrahim, who is a member of the leadership within the Guidance Bureau. This all adds up to mean that the longtime Bill Clinton employee is one of the primary players within the Muslim Brotherhood regime.”
Shoebat has further reported that in August, when U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns went to Cairo with U.S. Sens. John McCain and Lindsay Graham, it was Gehad who helped Burns arrange a secret 90-minute meeting with then-imprisoned Khairat el-Shater, a top-ranking Muslim Brotherhood member who had served as a deputy to the Morsi government.
“Without reading too much between the lines, that ‘major espionage involving foreign countries’ most likely includes the Obama administration when Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State,” Shoebat concluded.
