The disgusting thing about what the CT state police have done here, is to threaten the free speech of Americans without being specific about laws that might be broken.

It's probably just an empty threat meant to scare the people posting misinformation.
If law enforcement could arrest people for posting "misinformation" on the internet most internet users would already be locked up. Just look back at the stuff posted during the election.
