Feds Ask Residents to Be on Alert for Terror Threats

FBI agent says people must remain vigilant

WESLACO -Terrorists may be operating in the Rio Grande Valley. Federal officials said area residents must keep an eye for suspicious activity.

There are no current threats. Still, the possibility exists, officials said.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS reported how an al Shabab terrorist tried to cross into the Rio Grande Valley. Four years ago, Hezbollah had safe houses all along the border on the Mexican side, and they are doing businesses with the cartels.

Terrorists trekking through the region don’t don the typical battle garb. They tend to blend in with other immigrants, officials said.

Federal officials said they rely on the public for help.

“The FBI can't do this on their own. We can't monitor Twitter and Facebook and all entities. What we need are individuals in the community to reach to us if they see or hear anything that could be terrorism. Threats against individuals or entities in the name of terrorism,” FBI Special Agent Shane Utter said.

Utter is part of a joint terrorism task force.

Utter said terrorists use postings on Facebook, Youtube and other social media sites to intimidate.

He said the feds use their own videos to reach out to the public. Still, most of those videos get little attention.
“We've prevented multiple terrorist actions from occurring … in the United States,” Utter said.

“The point is that terrorism can occur anywhere. We've seen recently with online radicalization of individuals, anywhere is where terrorism can occur at this time,” Utter said.

FBI agents suggest people monitor Twitter, Facebook and other social media. Any threat should be reported to 956-984-6300.

Look at France. You know the country that would rather give up sovereignty over huge parts of its own soil and allow it to be dominated by foreigners rather than ever do anything that could ever remotely be considered intolerant of alien people and their alien culture.

When German citizens demonstrated against overwhelming immigration by Arabs, the Germans’ own government denounced the citizens they were supposed to represent.

There is a mental sickness in Western society, a psychotic self hatred and desire to purge guilt by policies of national suicide. And it comes straight from the Universities and the Marxist who dominate academia.

Normal, healthy societies do not behave like contemporary Western societies do. This is a self inculcated death wish.

The frightening thing is that the United States as part of the “West” has this sickness as well from the same source the Marxists dominated academia.

With all of the talk about how deplorable the Muslim barbarianism in France, with all of the talk about the need for national security and fighting terrorist NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THE NEED TO SECURE OUR OWN BORDERS TO PREVENT ATROSITIES LIKE THOSE IN FRANCE.

The “I am a citizen of the world” crowd will not ever attempt to do the most obvious and most effective thing to fight terrorism RESTRICT ARIB IMMIGRATION INTO THEIR COUNTRIES. The politically correct crowd would literally rather have Western society destroyed (and certainly many what exactly that) rather than give up their religion of multiculturalism.

We are engaged in a war beyond politics, but rather a war to preserve western society and culture. And we need to start talking about it. You can not stop a problem if you do not even acknowledge that it exists.
