you should write your state legislators and congressman about how your son and husband struggle to find jobs in contruction because illegals are taking your hubby's profession who is a citizen. i wrote my state legislators and congressman how illegals overwhelm hospitals that citizens who are in need have to wait their turn and schools overcrowded due to illegal kids and our own etc.

Border Patrol told us they apprehended 6,000 from special interest countries alone in 2008, and for every illegal alien they apprehend 4 or 5 evade capture. Only in an alternate liberal or RINO reality would that constitute a secure border. An undercover security team successfully sneaked enough simulated fissile material to make a nuclear device across an unguarded part of the border (only 852 miles of the 1,957 mile long southwest is under operational control) right up to the steps of the Federal Building in Phoenix using the same backpacks and suitcases used by illegal aliens to smuggle drugs and god only knows what else into this country.
In spite of this how this administration can offer the American people as sacrificial lambs in the pursuit of one world governance and no borders is beyond the comprehension of mere mortals.

I have emailed,called sent letters to all of our representatives,including our President, who seems to have forgotten that he is supposed to be working for the American people, for whatever thats worth.Apparently,we are being thrown to the wolves,for votes

don't lose hope. americans are realizing how illegals do more harm to american citizens , especially the middle class, than "...just poor people looking for work". looks like AZ law opened pandora's box

On Brett Baier today, he was talking to the panel about Obama meeting with Governor Brewer, and he showed clips of Obama talking to Larry King about Arizona's new law. Obama made it clear on Larry King that he will not secure the border until he can get comprehensive immigration reform, or better known as amnesty for all the illegals in this country.

This is derelection of duty and should be subject to immediate impeachment and brought up on charges or Treason

No President or other politician who wants "immigration reform" has any intention of securing the borders or enforcing US immigration law. The only "reform" our country needs is to relieve the federal government of responsibility for immigration enforcement and turn it back to the states and the people of the United States. The feds can still keep their immigration records and of course handle naturalization. But states are going to have to face the fact that they must secure the borders with no help from the federal government other than verifying immigration and naturalization records and they must enforce immigration laws.

Immigration control was never a "federal responsibility". It was always up to the states, with the exception that the federal government could prohibit it, but the federal government has no constitutional authority to permit it, increase it, allow it or grant it without the prior express consent of the state legislatures affected by it. That's what the Constitution provided for, it remains unchanged to this day, and any President, Attorney General or Congresscritter who claims otherwise is full of crap, should be impeached, needs to be removed from office and kicked to the curb into political obscurity.

Yes there has been proof for month of illegals crossing here with ties to terrorist cells.
Any exposure to this end has been outside of AZ.
I believe that this silence not to expose this National Security issue has been one of the biggest mistakes made here over this issue.
Certainly if it was exposed
it would further rally many more states in solidarity with AZ.
Obama is stalling for a reason .
Many stated this clearly in the above posts.
One of Obam's brains storms is "the family unification act" wihich is separate from the "Dream Act." also spoken aobut there . All must be stopped.
