because they are in this country illegally and using false or stolen documents to work and that is a crime. Illegal immigration is a crime. They should be treated just as any other criminal.
12 million illegal aliens are not picking fruit and vegetables and doing dirty work Americans will not do.
The problem is, the 12-20 million are here illegally and that is a crime. They need to be replaced, not given legal status, with legal workers. If they are here illegally working they are criminals and should be picked up, arrested and deported. One at a time just as ICE is doing.ICE has every right to go into any place where there are illegal aliens, arrest them and deport them because that is the job they are getting paid by the taxpayers to do.

Yes, they can be deported. In 1942, we rounded up Japanese Americans and put them in internment camps. We also confiscated their property. They were released when we saw it was safe to do so. Surely, in 2007 with the resources we have, we have put men on the moon, we can subsidize a war with trillions of dollars, we can deport 12 million illegal aliens. It was done in 1920s and in 1954. I could be done if the will to do it was there.
Lady Liberty is slowly disappearing because she is no longer needed. We are no longer into nation building but is nation survival. She is there as a representative of what this country is about.
And, Ms. Caroline Murry, Immigration Rights Activist. Irish and polish immigrant came through Ellis Island and there are records to prove it. Also, 100 years ago, we did not have the immigration problems and the immigration laws that we have now and that are needed. We no longer have an open border policy and we cannot afford to have one. We now need controlled immigration and we have laws to control it.

Yes, sneaking into any country without authorization or knowingly over-staying your visa IS A CRIME. Treat it like a crime. We cannot continue on this path anymore.

We need a president who understands that our immigration laws are SERIOUS laws which exist to protect the American people.

The 9/11 hijackers were ILLEGAL ALIENS.

We must take illegal entry into our country SERIOUSLY.
