Fl. House bans sanctuary cities, will punish local leaders who flaunt law

    ”TALLAHASSEE

The Florida House on Thursday voted to require local governments to detain people believed to be undocumented immigrants and, in some cases, let the governor remove local officials from office when they don’t comply.

It’s an effort to stop so-called “sanctuary cities,” which refuse to cooperate with federal immigration agencies. The House’s proposal (HB 675) includes not only traditional sanctuary cities but also any place that releases nonviolent offenders who may be undocumented immigrants.”

Keep in mind this legislation is in total harmony with 8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

    (A)Any person who—

_ (iii)knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;_

_(II)aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts, _

shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).

Now, all we need is for Jeff Sessions to grow a spine and send federal Marshalls to New York City and California and arrest and prosecute their elected leaders who are violating 8 U.S. Code § 1324

American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax-slaves to finance the economic needs [housing, education, medical needs, etc.] of the poverty stricken populations of other countries who invade America’s borders and violate our laws.

Send in the National Guard to assist ICE to the States that want these illegals DEPORTED!

Do a sweep of one State at a time to capture more of them! We want thousands booted out of our communities.

Have trains and barges ready to load them up and dump them at the Southern border of Mexico.

Let Mexico boot the Central Americans over their border!

Mexico gave them passes to come here...Mexico can damn well deport them back.
ILLEGAL ALIENS HAVE "BROKEN" OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

DO NOT REWARD THEM - DEPORT THEM ALL

    Exploiting poverty stricken aliens

We are told that sanctuary cities exist because employers want cheap labor. Of course, cheap, illegal entrant labor, does benefit the bottom line for business. But cheap labor is not the primary reason for the existence of sanctuary cities and States.

Keep in mind the political leadership which controls sanctuary cities and States across America is, without question, a communist/socialist/progressive leadership. And to remain in power this leadership needs an overwhelming voting block which is dependent on government cheese, who, when given the chance, will more than likely vote in accordance with fulfilling that economic need. This is why the notoriously evil leadership of sanctuary cities and states have embraced and welcomed, into America, the poverty stricken, poorly educated, low and unskilled populations of other countries ___ it’s about gaining and holding political power!

In the end, American citizens in sanctuary cities and states have been made into tax slaves to finance the economic needs of a financially dependent voting bloc welcomed into America which the political leadership of these enclaves exploit for their vote in order to remain in political power.

American citizens have been made into tax-slaves to finance a maternity ward for the poverty stricken populations of other countries who have, and are, invading America’s borders to give birth.

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

Florida House passes ban on ‘sanctuary cities’ for undocumented immigrants

TALLAHASSEE The Florida House on Thursday voted to require local governments to detain people believed to be undocumented immigrants and, in some cases, let the governor remove local officials from office when they don’t comply.

It’s an effort to stop so-called “sanctuary cities,” which refuse to cooperate with federal immigration agencies. The House’s proposal (HB 675) includes not only traditional sanctuary cities but also any place that releases nonviolent offenders who may be undocumented immigrants. That could potentially impact as many as 30 Florida counties, according to the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida, including all of South Florida and Tampa Bay.

“We have a problem that we have to build walls to keep people out of our country because we’re the greatest country in the world,” said Rep. Larry Metz, R-Yalaha, the bill sponsor. “Without both border security and internal enforcement, the system breaks down, and to fix it, we have to do our part in the state of Florida.” The bill passed with the support of 80 Republicans. Rep. Rene Plasencia, R-Orlando, was the lone Republican to join ranks with Democrats in opposition. A similar proposal has not advanced in the Senate. “This bill is part of a continuing effort that’s an assault on people who choose to migrate here,” said Rep. Joe Geller, D-Aventura.

What’s more, argued Rep. Jose Javier Rodriguez, D-Miami, it would be costly for local governments. Miami-Dade County, he said, would have to spend millions to detain undocumented immigrants who commit nonviolent crimes.
The county’s policy, he said, doesn’t make it a sanctuary county, because police work with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in some cases. But those federal officials rarely follow through with deportation orders for undocumented immigrants arrested on nonviolent charges.

“You’re taking your frustration out on what the federal government is or is not doing with respect to immigration,” Rodriguez said, “and you’re punishing local government for it.” In addition to banning sanctuary city policies, Metz’s bill allows the families of people killed by undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities to sue the local government. And it allows the governor to remove officials in those communities from office unless they made a clear effort to repeal those policies.

Metz is one of three House members proposing legislation targeting illegal immigration.

A proposal by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fort Walton Beach, would include wages earned by undocumented immigrants in determining state welfare benefits for their family members. And Rep. Carlos Trujillo, R-Miami, is pushing legislation for imposing state criminal penalties on deported people who re-enter the state. Supporters rebuffed claims that their goal is to go after the state’s immigrant population.
“This bill is not an assault on immigrants,” said Rep. Julio Gonzalez, R-Sarasota. “This bill is only to protect the very reasons why immigrants come to this country: to seek freedom.”
