Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo announced Monday that he will vote for Donald Trump on Nov. 8, even though he withdrew his endorsement just two weeks ago.

In a statement, Crapo revealed that he will vote for Trump as a vote against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He has previously rescinded his support of the GOP nominee after a video emerged showing Trump making lewd and inappropriate comments about women on a hot microphone 11 years ago.

At the time, the Idaho Republican called on Trump to "step aside" and for Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to take over as the top of the ticket candidate. "I urge Donald Trump to step aside and allow the Republican Party to put forward a conservative candidate like Mike Pence who can defeat Hillary Clinton," Crapo said.

Crapo is not the only Republican senator who has announced they are voting for Trump despite his reversal of support two weeks ago. Nebraska Sen. Deb Fischer announced only days after the video that she would once again support Trump and vote for him in November.
