Thread: FOLKS, WE ARE ON FLIGHT 93!

It just occured to me that we are like the passangers on Flight 93 that crashed in Shanksville, PA.

On 9-11, all of our institutional defenses: NORAD, the FBI, the CIA, Congress, and the President failed America. The 9-11 commission determined that Washington DC was an open target for flight 93 since there were not even fighter planes in the area to even shoot it down (the jets went in the wrong direction--they were looking for Russian jets!). 9-11 demonstrated that incompetence runs throughout our nations key instutions (listed above).

Can you imagine the most powerful country and military on earth could not even protect it's nation's capital against a hand full of young Saudi's?

It took 37 average Americans to do the job the entire federal government couldn't do!

If not for the heroic Flight 93 crew and passengers, the White House would likely be a pile of rubble today and the world economy would have crashed to a far greater degree than it did in 2001.

We are basically in the same situation now with Senate bill 1348. The only thing now standing between an incompetent Congress that wants to pass a bill that will destroy the United States is you and me--average Americans--who know what will happen if the bill passes.

We cannot rely on the Democrat party, nor the Republican party to keep the US safe. We cannot even rely on our elected officials. It's up to us to take this bill down before it reaches Bush's desk.

Let's redouble our efforts and keep giving them hell! The country is depending on us!
