Gary Johnson(libertarian candidate) seems clueless when it comes to illegal immigration. As anyone who's followed the illegal immigration news from this site for awhile knows, illegal immigrants are absolutely taking away jobs from American citizens. This myth that they only take jobs that no American wants to do needs to stop being spread around.
I also can't help but recall the official libertarian party position on immigration from the year 2000.
Eliminate all restrictions on immigration We welcome all refugees to our country. Furthermore, immigration must not be restricted for reasons of race, religion, political creed, age, or sexual preference. We therefore call for the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally. So basically it seemed the libertarian party position from the year 2000 was, repeal or ignore all immigration related laws on the books. Pretty much the opposite of what ALIPAC advocates, which is advocating vigorously enforcing all existing immigration laws on the books. After I read that official position from the libertarian party, the libertarian party just seemed loony to me. A party I'd never join, donate to, or vote for. I hope Johnson doesn't get any more than the 1% of votes the libertarian party got last time around in the presidential election.

if your going to post some thing get your fact right , first of all have you been around looking for work I don't think so . yes we want work but the illegal immigrant has the job , that we want .why in pa my friend apply for a job in west pittston this guy came out of the door & told my friend son you will not get ajob we have all illegal immigrants . many other company has the same thing so don't come & post some thing you don't know go & see if you can get a job

These people are so out of touch and have no idea what is really going on in this country.

It is not just the illegals but foreign worker visa'd & now their "spouses" can get work here too.

As you see in NY & other states, with permission for illegals to work as doctors, lawyers, and other licensed professions, they are taking jobs that are vital to American citizens - a whole different category than farm workers.

Here in Vegas.....My CITIZEN neighbor was a cleaning lady at one of the Casinos....she loved it.....she was let go because she could not communicate with the other room cleaners,,,,they all spoke Spanish....

In a way, he is right. But the reason that the illegals are doing jobs that citizens won't is because the jobs don't exist for citizens. The jobs were not created for citizens. The problem is not that the illegals are corrupting the labor market, the problem is the legal immigrants have diverted the US economy to create jobs for the illegals. The jobs were not created for citizens. When the illegals go away, most of these jobs will vanish. But the economy will improve and capital will return to citizens who care about citizens, this will create jobs for citizens. To create jobs for citizens we need to increase criminal penalties on immigrants who hire illegals, including threatening citizenship were legal immigrants actually have citizenship
