General Electric(GE), who makes over 15 Billion in Profits, but pays no income tax, have developed light bulbs that will transmit a code in the light to communicate directly with smartphones through phone cameras. I am sure there could never be any trade off there, with our trust worthy Big Brother.

Oh my God, that is so sick. This type of "product" just shows how wacked out our companies have become. Instead of focusing on stove burners that will heat up evenly or HVAC capacitors that will last more than 2 seasons, they're spending their time trying to figure out how to "talk to you" through a light bulb.

Really, they should go broke, get out of the way, and make room for companies who want to produce something we actually want to buy.
