Fr. Anthony Hanna and Egyptian refugees Mina and Mark Shoukry joined Glenn on Thursday’s Glenn Beck Program to talk about what life is like for Christians in Egypt. Fr. Hanna hoped the interview would help in continuing to expose the Muslim Brotherhood for what it really is and to make people aware of the threat it poses to the people of Egypt and region at large. As was reported on last night’s episode of For The Record, the view of the U.S. in Egypt is poor. Egyptians, especially Christians, see the consider their once strong ally to be supporters of the Brotherhood. Such support stands in direct contradiction to everything the U.S. preaches about its tolerance of terrorism. Fr. Hanna was ultimately optimistic, however, for the plight of the Coptic Christians has gained great traction in the U.S. and he has heard from many Americans who are unhappy with the Administration’s position on the Muslim Brotherhood.
