HALF OF THE NATIONAL GUARD TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BORDER

President bush will not withdraw troops from Iraq, he will protect other countries with everything he's got, but he will leave the American people unprotected.

Matthew Borghese - AHN News Writer
Washington, D.C. (AHN) - The National Guard will slash the number of troops
stationed along the U.S.-Mexico border in half, according to a new
    deployment order.

The Pentagon will cut the number of soldiers assisting the U.S. Customs and
Border Protection Agency from 6,000 to 3,000, following a surge put in place
by President George Bush last year to help combat illegal immigration and
    the drug trade.

President Bush initiated "Operation Jump Start" which put a mostly volunteer
force along the 2,000-mile-long border with Mexico. The troops helped take
care of administrative duties, freeing up Border Protection agents to keep
    vigil and make arrests.

National Guard Bureau spokesman Army Maj. David Kolarik said that the
deployment "was never meant to be a permanent solution."
Bullpuckey!! The deal was the guard would be replaced by new BP agents, 2000 trade off per year, with 6000 new agents on the border by '09 and all 6000 guard pulled off by then. BP has about 500 new agents and he's pulling 3000 NG off. Does Chertoff and this brain dead Adminstration think we forgot? The arrogance of these globalist elites! Get ready for another run for the border by the drug cartels and criminal aliens! What a sham!

"It was just an intermediate measure to provide support for border security
efforts until they brought the additional resources and personnel in line
that they needed," Major Kolarik said.

The Show is over. Bush has no more need to pretend he is securing the border now that his bill has failed.

The National Guard move was just for show to try and convince Americans we could expect some border security if we gave in to the amnesty.

Exactly, he was not sincere to begin with. He has no intention of protecting the border or keeping illegals from crossing! SO the insanity continues!!!

The National Guard on the border wasn't doing any good, anyway. They couldn't approach or detain anybody, so what the hell good is that? The whole thing was a joke right from the start.

They are sending them to Afghanistan!

My husband's troops are supposed to go, but he is supposed to retire next month.

They were supposed to be in AZ right now to continue building the fences, but that was stopped and they are training for overseas.

He called said that 19 young guys have already dropped from the heat, where they have had to put on so much on their bodies.

He says they know he's supposed to retire next month, but they are going to make him do the same training next week. I asked him if he told them he had been in the hospital twice last year, once for a mini-stroke and another they didn't seem to find out if it was his lungs, heart or what!

Anyway, I'd bet a lot of those troops on the border now, will soon be called up.
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!
