Heidi Cruz: ‘Ted Is An Immigrant!
Heidi Cruz: ‘Ted Is An Immigrant!’

Heidi Cruz opened up a potential line of attack for Donald Trump on Saturday when she told a campaign crowd in Indiana that her husband can unify the Republican party because he is an immigrant.
“Ted is an immigrant. He is Hispanic. He can unify this party,” Cruz told an audience in Greenfield, according to the Washington Examiner’s Byron York.
The Texas senator was born to a Cuban father and American mother in Canada in 1970 but moved to Texas several years later. And though Cruz is an American citizen because his mother’s nationality, Trump has used his opponent’s birthplace to suggest that he is not eligible for president.
As York notes, Trump frequently calls Cruz by his given name, Rafael, during his campaign speeches, likely as a suggestion to voters that Cruz is soft on immigration.
It remains to be seen if Trump will jump on Heidi Cruz’s comments or if doing so will prove effective. But the real estate billionaire may have trouble in doing so since his wife, Melania, is an immigrant from Slovenia.Indiana’s primary, which will be held Tuesday, is a must-win for Cruz if he is to have any chance of winning the GOP nomination. As it stands, he cannot win the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination before the party’s convention. His only hope now is to prevent Trump from reaching that magic number, too.
Trump has 996 delegates with 571 still available.

Well, that's the first truth to come out of the Cruz campaign. Thank you Heidi! Yes, Cruz is an immigrant which means he is not a natural born citizen, and is INELIGIBLE to hold the office of President of the United States under the clear meaning of the term "natural born citizen" in Article II in the US Constitution. Sadly, he's eligible to hold the office of US Senator, but happily he is NOT ELIGIBLE to be President or Vice President of the United States.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

Oooh yeah, posylady, you got that right. All he needs is enough rope and enough time to hang his own campaign as if he hasn't done so already.
Bring it home for Trump, Indiana! Then we spend the rest of this campaign passing the popcorn.

HEY!! Trump saw the report somewhere .... maybe someone on his staff tracking ALIPAC news like Stephen Miller .... don't know but in any event, Trump used it in his rally speeches yesterday!! "Ted is an immigrant" -- Heidi Cruz.
Yes, he is immigrant and therefore INELIGIBLE to be President. And Trump read it from the paper to the crowd and then said to them "that's what I've been saying .... he's not eligible to run."
Rope Tightening.
I watched his Terra Haute speech on Right Side Broadcasting Network .... 139,664 viewers ...... there used to be at big ones 30,000. He's on the roll.

The campaign is saying she misspoke and intended on saying "a son of an immigrant."
