HERE IT COMES… HOLDER NOW UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR LYING UNDER OATH

The perjury investigation is now in full swing
The House Judiciary Committee is investigating whether Attorney General Eric Holder lied under oath during his May 15 testimony on the Justice Department’s (DOJ) surveillance of reporters, an aide close to the matter told The Hill.
The panel is looking at a statement Holder made during a back and forth with Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) about whether the DOJ could prosecute reporters under the Espionage Act of 1917.
“In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material — this is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy,” Holder said during the hearing.
However, NBC News reported last week that Holder personally approved a search warrant that labeled Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen a co-conspirator in a national security leaks case.
Leftist talk show bully Bill Press joins Huffington Post and MANY others on the left calling for Holder’s head.Even David Axelrod is in on the action.
Talk radio host and former chairman of the California Democratic Party Bill Press said Thursday that Attorney General Eric Holder should be fired over the subpoena of reporter phone records.
At this point I believe Eric Holder will likely resign or step down. It’s the most logical step for Obama as the 2014 elections begin to kick in and scandals are ripping his narratives apart. If Axelrod falls on his sword, the Obama administration gets away with the Benghazi lies, fast & furious, the press hacking, etc. Holder puts a lot of the scandal heat to rest and they know it.
The Justice Department’s surveillance of a Fox News reporter is “disturbing,” David Axelrod said Tuesday.
The former Obama campaign adviser specially said he found it troublesome that the Department of Justice decided to label chief Fox News Washington correspondent James Rosen a criminal co-conspirator in a national security leaks case.
“I do think there are real issues regarding the relationship with the media on this leak matter,” Axelrod said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “The notion of naming a journalist as a co-conspirator for receiving information is something that I find very disturbing.
“We have to figure out … how we deal with national security leaks and how we protect the freedom of the press and the freedom of reporters to operate,” Axelrod continued. “And certainly this Rosen case raises some very disturbing issues.”
Obama and his allies in media are desperate for a reason to move out from under these scandals and a rolling head like Holder’s is the best way to go. The question then becomes… who will replace Holder and what sort of post-AG discipline will be in place for Holder once he steps down?

ISSA ISSUES SUBPOENA TO STATE DEPARTMENT FOR FULL DISCLOSURE
By Mitch Odom
Published: May 28, 2013 | 0 Comments
Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are not buying into White House claims that everything is above board and out in the light concerning the Benghazi attacks. They believe the White House has much more information than what has been divulged to this point.
Last week, Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa wrote to Secretary of State John Kerry reminding him of his promise to operate “an accountable and open State Department”. Issa stated that the department’s release of 100 emails earlier this month was “incomplete.” He also requested that Kerry make available to the committee a number of additional State employees for cross examination.
Tuesday Issa issued a subpoena to the State Department demanding all of the documents and emails that pertain to the Benghazi talking points. He said the documents which were released May 20th did not answer “critical” questions put forth by the committee.
How will the White House respond to the subpoena? If the trend of recent responses are any indication; the White House will respond with as little information as possible and deflect real answers with innuendos, much the same as with Fast and Furious. With the media in their back pocket, the Obama administration was able to ride out Fast and Furious even with Eric Holder found in contempt of Congress.
The White House may not be so fortunate this time around with the current slate of scandalous events. The news media can no longer be counted on for full “I’ve got your back” support. Case in point was Bob CBS anchor Bob Schieffer on Sunday’s “Face the Nation” when he said,
“It’s reached the point that if I want to interview anyone in the administration on camera, from the lowest-level worker to a top White House official, I have to go through the White House press office.Speaking of Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to essentially investigate himself, Shieffer said,
If their chosen spokesman turns out to have no direct connection to the story of the moment — as was the case when U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice was sent out to explain the Benghazi episode — then that’s what we, and you, the taxpayer, get. And it usually isn’t much.”
“And to head the review, how about someone other than the Attorney General, whose department is so deeply involved? That makes no sense to me.”The issuance of subpoenas to the State Department reveals intent of the Oversight Committee to continue moving forward with the Benghazi investigation. Issa wrote to Kerry,
“The State Department has not lived up to the administration’s broad and unambiguous promises of cooperation with Congress. Therefore, I am left with no alternative but to compel the State Department to produce relevant documents through a subpoena.”

CHAIRMAN OF HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE VOWS TO FIND OUT WHAT ERIC HOLDER KNOWS
By Norvell Rose
Published: May 28, 2013 | 0 Comments
At the recent convention of the Republican Party of Virginia, Rep. Bob Goodlatte, Chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee, was highly critical of Attorney General Eric Holder. Goodlatte, from Virginia’s 6th District, spoke harshly of Holder’s less-than-forthcoming appearance before his committee.
