Thread: Hospitals Should Speak Out On llegals

I went to the hospital emergency department last month. A few weeks later I receieved a letter from my insurance asking me if I was in a car accident. I filled out the paper work and send it back to them within 2 days. Friday evening I got a call from the hospital billing department if I sent that form to the insurer. This is the first time I have had this happen. I asked if this was due to all the illegals they were treating for free or rather at the taxpayers expense? The woman didn't want to say anything so I went on and told her how one of their nurses wrote on a blog against illegal immigration how illegals are getting free dialysis, bypass surgery, baby delivery among other things. She then agreed about the illegals free care.
I have a suggestion to hospitals, go and complain to the government about the effect of illegals on their business.
The same has happened here in South Florida as in California with hospital closings. If Curious Pat is reading this I am sure he would be shocked to know how many are now gone.

Don't worry they know and it should come to no shock to anybody: THEY DON'T CARE!!! Have you seen Congress' healthcare plans--they don't even have to sign up for Medicare. They have the most outrageous healthcare---unavailable to American citizens. They can go any where to any hospital at any time for any test whenever they want.

Sorry I got big with this but it is one of many things that really outrages me!!! (I cannot really write how I feel and not be banned!)

Giving them Amnesty wont solve the overrun healthcare system.

Deporting them will!

I myself am damn sick of paying for medical for illegals, especially when I see so many Americans who don't go to the doctor because of no Insurance it is an outrage!

If they get their amnesty our government feels they are all entitled to free health care too(not something americans get)!...I know they are already getting free healthcare, but if they are made legal that will make them even feel more entitled to use our health care system...What a way to wreck the American Health care system is to give it away to foreign invaders who broke our laws coming here...If that isn't stupid I don't know what it is!

I had a bad reaction from an insect bite last weekend. I went to
Raleigh Community Hospital, which is part of Duke medical system.
The wait was four hours & most of the people there needed an
interpreter. All the forms were bilingual. I finally gave up because
I could go an urgent care & use my insurance the next morning,
but I knew I was taking some risk. What I really wondered about
was if this was one of my children & I had to wait behind a
slew of illegals. I think it's just the state we are going to be in &
it will get worse if the S.1348 passes.

I would suggest that you form a relationship with a 24 hour care
urgent care facility so you can get emergency care for your
children. I'm giving up on RCH/Duke.

Yeah, this is happening in hospitals around the country. Makes you wonder where the 12 million illegals number the government keeps shouting about is coming from, doesn't it? Heck, we all know there are at least 30 million illegal immigrants here.

I've heard that much of the free medical care they receive is actually given to women coming in who are in labor. It is frustrating to me that with all the talk of guest workers, z-visas, etc. , that the politicians refuse to discuss the huge number of illegals who are women who most likely never intend to work here.

In Los Angeles it's so bad that the Paramedics are being turned away from the ER rooms! They actually have to call 3 or 4 hospitals in order to find one that can take the patients! My daughter was involved in an auto accident 3 years ago and the Paramedics drove around for 40 minutes before they could find an opening! They were turned away by 3 ER rooms and finally ended up a Midway Hospital. Thank God her injuries were relatively minor!

Here's another horror story....The office manager at my doctor's office told me that the relatives of the hispanic population here take out a 30 day visitor's visa from Mexico and come to "visit" their "families" in LA and take care of all of their medical and dental problems while they are visiting. How can they afford if, you ask? Simple...they have MEDICAID CARDS! They actually live in Mexico and carry MEDICAID CARDS!

The cost of healthcare for Mexico will be the death knell for the US!

My family can barely afford to go to the Dr if we do get sick and we have insurance! Our health insurance tripled this year plus the deductible went from $500 to $1000 plus we have to pay 30% if the bill-last year it was 20%. My city is full of lying illegals who know how to take advantage of the freebies. We are paying for it.
