In Short - We need to stop this no matter what. Using Children as a ploy to keep people who broke the law here. If we do this we might as well not jail people with children. Hell for these children its probably better for them if their parents arnt around. No major actions since about this time last year, but we should be aware and keep an eye on it.

If this gets through, the US will be bankrupt from the medical costs of child deliveries of illegal parents...alone.
People will have kids for no other reason. This is about as good as offering $5000 for each child born in the US.

Why should prosecution of a crime be based on whether or not you have kids?

I have often satirically argued that a exempting a person from a crime because they have children should include all criminals. I wonder what kind of Pandora's box this would open, outside of the illegal alien arena. If passed technically, this could be used as a precedent, under equal protection clauses of the constitution. We could find serial killers being released simply because they were fertile.

when are these idiot politicians going to realize the high cost of illegal immigration that the tax payers are stuck with? All the money used to pay for the children of illegals could be money spent lowering the cost of health care and providing preventative healthcare for US CITIZENS. Close the border, deport the illegals and their anchor babies, and fix the 14th ammendment.
