This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the
word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
whether you wa! nt the 'politicians' spending
YOUR tax money.


A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of it's releases.

250 BILLION DOLLARS

to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number...

what does it mean?

Today I got an email from a Christian news organization warning Americans against the "Global Poverty Act." The email stated that during the past 50 years, OVER 2.3 TRILLION DOLLARS in FOREIGN AID from America, Canada, Western Europe, and Australia was sent to OVER 100 Third-World nations, and ALMOST NONE of it reached the poor people it was intended to help. Instead, it ended up in the pockets of CORRUPT foreign dictators! Then when we REFUSE to send their nations ANY MORE assistance because of THIS, these SAME corrupt dictators vilify US as STINGY!
