Sears....back when they were an American company.
Lived in NC back in late 70's-early 80'.
Used to heat with a moma bear wood stove.
You could cook dinner, heat the house, and hang laundry up to
dry....all at the same time.
Got a bad case of poison oak cutting down trees for wood...
it was free cause the land needed to be razed.

We had “ON TV” you had to turn a key to watch a movie
Swats in school,You seen your teacher at church on Sunday, Walking to bible school,Most every one had a mother and a father at home.
Where I grew up if someone drove down the road,
and did not wave he was up to no good we knew all our neighbors
gym shoes with the rubber curled up on the front tip
we only bought shoes at one store
View Master, creater fature ,walt disney show on sudays ,cartoons were only on saturdays mornings Wooden toys,35 mil film movies
B B guns were cool,Silver dollars,Big glass Christmas lights,
Getting gas pumped by some one,Smokes where 65 cents a pack,
Turn in coke bottles for a dime We lived a mile from a store we could walk and get a buck by the time we where there
Drives in the evening just cause
The Ohio River froze solid
Ringing a bell on the fourth of July at two o’clock

movies on suday after noon
