Born in 1953. I remember drive-in movies and gas station attendants.

    Remember when
If some gave you the finger or vise versa and you could say whip it out and no one did.
    Dirty Harry was cool,
Men weren’t allowed to watch babies being born (unless you where the doctor) we had to wait and pace the floor in another room.
Cars were made out of metal- steel and all made here in America.
If you had a foreign made car you ran the risk of someone welding the doors closed .
The Cincinnati Reds had a team and Pete Rose was on it.
We could leave our house doors unlocked at night. (So depressing)
    Lorena Bobbitt (even more depressing)
    The Fonzz (aaaaaa!!!!)
Michel Jackson was white or was he black and had a noise
Prince was Prince of England and not a symbol (What’s this any way)
Striped suits, shirts and paints I owned I could wear outside the house.
    Water beds
    The best for last:

    NO INFOMERCIALS

    How about !

How about mils. Mils were a subdivision of a PENNY. 100 mils equaled one penny. They seemed to be made of aluminum were a little bigger than a nickel and were silver colored.

How about collecting aluminum pots and pans for the war, sugar rationing, A,B & C stickers for the automobile - gasoline rationing.

How about the Modet T Ford with a crank, no starter.

How about kerosene lamps, no electric installed.

How about the outhouse up the hill.

How about the crank telephone hanging on the wall, an oak box. 8 parties to a line, all the neighbors listened to the conversations.

How about the pot bellied, wood burning heating "stove" in the dining room, and the wood burning kitchen stove and oven.

How about carrying water from the well into the house.

    And the battery powered radio.

How about driving a team of mules 12 miles into town and selling cantelopes for 25 cents a bushel.

Pong was the first video game sold to the public. The controller was just a knob you twisted back and forth to control a "paddle" on the screen. A little white dot bounced back and forth across the screen like ping PONG. Hence the name.
