    How is Senator-elect Jeff Merkley on illegal immigration?

    Jeff Merkley (D) has defeated the incumbent Gordon Smith (R) to win a Senate seat in Oregon. (Smith had a grade of C+ from NumbersUSA.)

    Does anyone know Merkley's views and record on illegal immigration?

    Expect him to be a very liberal team player with Obama. The only thing that would likely prevent him from supporting Amnesty would be more pressing obligations with the Obama voters.
