Illegal Immigrant Related Pandemic Diseases are Appearing in the United States

Illegal Immigrant Related Pandemic Diseases are Appearing in the United States

Posted on September 4, 2014 by Dave Hodges

    Job applicants or terrorists?

Three months ago, people like Dr. Jane Orient, myself and anonymous Border Patrol agents began to call for quarantine, for the purpose of health screening all immigrants. Many people laughed and said there was no real threat. The invasion of our country, the very invasion that people said was not real, has just endangered the entire country. We are sitting on the beginning of a series of pandemic outbreaks.

Prominent Health Officials Have Called for Quarantining All Illegal Immigrants for Health Reasons

In June, one of Arizona’s most prominent physicians, Dr. Jane Orient, called for proper health screening as she thought the unbridled and unconditioned entry of illegal immigrants into the country was problematic.

    Dr. Austin King

Dr. Austin King, head of the Texas Medical Association, is now calling out Texas Governor Rick Perry and President Barrack Obama to allow doctors to screen all of the unaccompanied children who have been coming across the border from Honduras and El Salvador. The President has remained silent with regard to the request.

Dr. King expressed the view that in order for more doctors to go down to the border, emergency funding would likely need to be approved, and ICE would have to change some policies in order to allow everyone coming across to be screened.

Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet, a prominent preventive medicine physician, who previously served as the former Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, stated that “Legal immigrants are required to pay for medical exams and screening tests conducted by approved physicians before they arrive here. They’re not arriving in the U.S. carrying diseases, and then being dispersed into cities across the nation.” The CDC acknowledges this very fact on their website. Vliet further stated that the CDC’s own guidelines are clearly being violated with regards to the illegal immigrants currently crossing the border.

Back in July of 2014, I was told by two confidential Border Patrol informants that some of their agents were coming down with immigrant-related diseases such as drug resistant TB and scabies and that they had resorted to laundering their clothes at their work site so they did not carry the illnesses home to their families. Now we have official confirmation as it has been announced that Border Patrol agents and other Department of Homeland Security (DHS) staff have contracted diseases from infected migrants, some of whom are unaccompanied children (UAC).

The government, through a DHS report, finally admitted that, “Many UAC and family units require treatment for communicable diseases, including respiratory illnesses, tuberculosis, chicken pox, and scabies. DHS employees reported exposure to communicable diseases and becoming sick on duty. … Two CBP Officers reported that their children were diagnosed with chicken pox within days of the CBP Officers’ contact with a UAC who had chicken pox.”
    Our Children Are At Risk

In one of the articles that I wrote at the height of the illegal immigration crisis, I stated that within a few months, these illegal immigrant children would be sitting in classrooms next to American children and could possibly expose our children to illnesses for which Americans have no immunity. Well, that day has arrived.

A new and unidentified respiratory illness has come to Missouri and it is sickening hundreds of kids, and it’s causing trouble throughout the entire state.

At St. Louis, Children’s Mercy Hospital has seen more than 300 cases of enterovirus 68 since mid-August. A doctor there says it is. The children have difficulty breathing. Ten to 15 percent of the children are needing intensive care.

St. Louis Children’s Hospital reports that it has seen more than a 100 children with similar symptoms in the past week.

St. Louis Children’s hospital, just like Children’s Mercy, is full and is not able to admit anymore patients.

Despite the emerging pandemic, Dr. Mary Anne Jackson, an infectious disease specialist at Children’s Mercy, said samples it sent to the CDC were almost all enterovirus 68, but the CDC refuses implicate the virus as a cause for this latest outbreak. Of course, we would not want to implicate the CDC for turning a blind eye to this emerging crisis. Despite the fact that all of the samples sent to the CDC tested positive for enterovirus 68, the CDC says there is insufficient statistical data to draw any conclusion.

Dr. Jackson says good hand washing, covering your cough and not sending your child to school if he or she appears sick can help control the spread. In other words, there’s no anti-viral medicine for enterovirus 68 and no vaccine. Subsequently, washing their hands is your children’s only defense.

Mysterious Illness Sweeping Through Border Towns

Officials from the CDC have confirmed that they are investigating a mystery illness that has been rapidly emerging in towns and military bases housing these undocumented immigrants. The CDC has outbreak specialists in place who are currently attempting to identify whether the causative agent is bacterial or viral. These illnesses are appearing in communities near where the government housed scores of illegal immigrants in detention centers.

As I predicted late last spring, these outbreaks are among the first of a long line outbreaks we were going to see as a result of unscreened illegal aliens.

    Conclusion

In a 1966 article in Nation, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, sociology professors at Columbia University, wrote that capitalism should be collapsed by overloading the government with financial demands that could not be met. Clearly,Obama is working off of the playbook of Cloward and Piven.

The strategy is to collapse the financial system. The tactic is chaos. If a crisis does not exist, create one. The more chaos the better. The solution is always couched in empathetic words like “fair,” “equal,” “humane,” and “just.”
We know that the government refused admittance to Ft. Sill in Oklahoma to Oklahoma congressman, Jim Bridenstine so he could not see for himself what was going in these facilities housing illegal immigrants. What are they hiding?
In light of these revelations, members of the media may lament that we’d be far better off if the government worked as hard to stop the spread of disease as it does to stop the spread of information.

Unusual respiratory virus strikes hundreds of metro kids

    POSTED 4:24 PM, AUGUST 28, 2014,
    BY MERYL LIN MCKEAN,

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An unusual respiratory virus is striking children in the metro in big numbers. Children’s Mercy Hospital is hospitalizing 20 to 30 kids a day with the virus. The hospital is as full now as it is at the height of flu season.

This is not the same virus we told you about several weeks ago that can cause meningitis. This one can cause severe breathing trouble. Children’s Mercy has seen more than 300 cases in recent days in kids of all ages.

Preston Sheldon’s mom says he seemed fine when she took him to pre-school Tuesday. But minutes later, the Grain Valley mom got the call. Her three-year-old son was having trouble breathing.

“You could see his ribs, and his stomach was pushing out really hard… I thought it was an asthma attack,” said Pam Sheldon.
But it was a virus that is inundating Children’s Mercy with patients.

“To be at winter census is quite unusual in August obviously. To see a virus we’ve not seen before is unusual, too,” said Dr. Mary Anne Jackson, an infectious disease specialist.

It is enterovirus 68. The doctor says it’s well-known around the world, but cases have not been seen in Kansas City before.
“We have about 10 to 15 percent who have severe illness from this virus which actually acts like asthma exacerbations,” said Dr. Jackson.

She says about two-thirds of the hospitalized cases are in children like Preston who have a history of asthma or wheezing. But others are having trouble breathing, too. She says the virus will produce an ordinary cold in many kids. What should parents watch for?
“The difficulty breathing is a very obvious tip-off sign they need to come into the hospital,” said Dr. Jackson.

To try to stop the spread, Children’s Mercy has posted signs at security entrances saying children 12 or younger should not visit in-patients. Nor should those with symptoms visit.

Dr. Jackson says good hand washing, covering your cough and not sending your child to school if he or she appears sick can help control the spread.

There’s no anti-viral medicine for enterovirus 68 and no vaccine. Supportive care, including oxygen, has helped Preston. His mom is glad they didn’t wait to go to the emergency room.

“Cause it can hit really fast. And without medical treatment, it could get really bad,” she said.

Crisis at the Border: CDC Investigates Mystery Illness Spreading Through Border Towns

    Posted about 2 months ago

Concerns about the large number of undocumented women with children, as well as unaccompanied undocumented children, being housed in military bases and border towns along the U.S./Mexico border have been growing in recent days. Citizens have staged protests demanding solutions and Texas officials have called on the federal government to act. While much of the concern and protest has been focused on the financial burden these undocumented immigrants are inflicting, a new cause for concern is quickly emerging.

Officials from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) have confirmed that they are investigating a mystery illness that has been rapidly emerging in towns and military bases housing these undocumented immigrants. The CDC has outbreak specialists in place who are currently attempting to identify whether the causative agent is bacterial or viral. It is not currently known if the disease emerged from immigrant populations, but its presence has been strongly correlated to detention centers. The disease has been much more prevalent in U.S. born individuals than in immigrant populations, suggesting that immigrant populations may have developed some immunity to the disease and are now acting as carriers.

In addition to more common disease symptoms such as high fever, nausea, and deep muscle pain, the illness also has a disturbing neurological component. Affected individuals seem to be losing many executive mental functions and resorting to a more primitive brain state. Dr. John Chauld of the CDC Outbreak Response Team offered the following statement:

Affected individuals begin exhibiting what appear to be flu-like symptoms. They may experience high fever, muscle aches, and in some cases vomiting or diarrhea. These symptoms typically last 2 days. As they subside, we notice a profound neurological shift in about 40% of patients. These patients become very hostile and territorial, almost like feral dogs in the most severe cases. They become especially hostile toward individuals that are of a different ethnic background. We suspect that their brains are reverting to some primitive state that perceives non similar individuals as a threat. This is a very concerning symptom as neurological effects can be extremely challenging to reverse. Our outbreak analysis experts, medical personnel, and research support staff are working around the clock to identify the causative agent of this disease and control this outbreak. The disease does not appear to be fatal, but we do not yet know if the neurological symptoms will be curable.

According to CDC analysis, the outbreak is currently centered in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas with a secondary epicenter in Murrieta, California. Currently the CDC is monitoring 429 active cases. CDC officials are encouraging residents in affected areas to remain calm, but to practice good hygiene practices. If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, nausea, vomiting, or extreme feelings of hatred, discontent, or fear you are encouraged to to seek medical attention.

    FROM: GAIL VASTERLING
    DIRECTOR
SUBJECT: Respiratory Illnesses Due to Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68 in
    Missouri
    Current Situation
Recently, a pediatric hospital in Kansas City, Missouri has experienced over 300 cases of
respiratory illnesses in their facility. Approximately 15% of those illnesses have resulted in
children being placed in an intensive care unit. Testing of specimens from several cases at
a specialized laboratory at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicated
that 19 of the 22 specimens were positive for Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68. The St. Louis
area is also experiencing a recent increase in pediatric respiratory illnesses. Many
specimens from those cases have tested positive for enterovirus, and further testing for
specific virus type is pending. To date, no deaths have been reported due to EV-68 in
    Missouri.

Rare virus might be causing central Ohio kids’ respiratory illnesses
    By Ben Sutherly
    The Columbus Dispatch
    Thursday September 4, 2014 8:50 AM

Unusually high levels of respiratory illness have been reported this week in Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s emergency department, and samples are being sent out for testing to see whether a rare virus might be to blame.
“Obviously, it’s a concern,” Dr. Mysheika Williams

Roberts, medical director and assistant commissioner at Columbus Public Health, said of the volume of respiratory cases. “What we are experiencing is unusual for us this time of year.”

Last week, respiratory symptoms were the chief complaint of an average of 52 patients per day in the hospital’s emergency department. From Sunday through Tuesday of this week, respiratory symptoms were the chief complaint of an average of 73 patients per day, a 40 percent increase.

Some of those illnesses might be cases of human enterovirus 68, Roberts said. That virus apparently has sickened dozens of kids in the Kansas City, Mo., area, in recent weeks.

Nationwide Children’s officials said they hope the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention can confirm whether any of the local hospital’s patients with respiratory problems are HEV68 cases.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many of Nationwide Children’s recent cases of respiratory illness might be caused by HEV68, nor was it clear how many possible HEV68 cases resulted in hospitalization.

The hospital is testing only severely ill patients for the virus, which usually is not fatal but can cause wheezing and shortness of breath. There is no vaccine.

Columbus Public Health said typical precautions help to prevent the spread of the virus, including washing one’s hands before touching the eyes, nose or mouth and avoiding kissing, hugging and sharing eating utensils with those who might be infected. Disinfecting surfaces also is prudent.

HEV68, first isolated in California in 1962, is a unique enterovirus that shares characteristics with human rhinoviruses.

The hospital yesterday had not implemented visitor restrictions, a spokeswoman said; they are common during the winter-flu season. The spokeswoman also noted that visits to emergency departments and urgent-care centers sometimes increase when school resumes.

Nationwide Children’s is the only children’s hospital in Ohio that has contacted the Ohio Department of Health about sending specimens, said spokeswoman Melanie Amato.

Meanwhile, the state Health Department is expected to announce thatOhio’s measles outbreak is officially over. As of yesterday, no new cases of measles had been reported in Ohio since July 23. The state had said it would consider the outbreak officially over when two incubation periods, or 42 consecutive days, had passed.

In all, 377 cases were reported in Ashland, Coshocton, Crawford, Highland, Holmes, Knox, Richland, Stark and Wayne counties. The outbreak started in April.

Measles cases are at a 20-year high in the United States, driven largely by the outbreak among unvaccinated Amish populations in Ohio.
