Illegal immigrants cost California millions

The state of the economy in the world is bad — every nation has its woes. A huge part of California's woes are in the millions and millions of dollars the illegal immigrants are costing taxpayers.

Between medical, criminal and supplemental entitlements to illegal immigrants, California is on its financial knees.

Why do our tax dollars have to go to support illegal people? What part of the word "illegal" don't we get? Throw the bums out, close the borders, no anchor babies — if one of the two parents isn't a citizen, neither should the child be declared a citizen just because the mother gained illegal entry to California and had her child born free with taxpayers picking up the cost. Why do you think medical costs are so high? Because thousands of illegals don't pay. You pay for them through higher medical costs.

I am trying to retire and my medical insurance costs are astronomical. I never once thought medical insurance would cost me more than any house payment I ever had. I don't mind paying my fair share, I just don't want to pay illegal immigrants' fair shares, too.

So, California has been the Liberal testing field. Every Liberal program imaginable has been implemented and look at what it has done to the state. Socialism doesn't work. Some of the highest tax rates in the US and the state is going broke.

The whole state of California is sinking like the Titanic...But the the idiots running this state won't stop all the spending for the unlimited number of illegal aliens who keep entering our country illegally.

Our lives our ruined now that we are over-run with illegal aliens who have sucked us dry!

From what I've heard 60% of our budget goes just for education (yes including illegals and special programs) and we have some of the highest paid teachers in the country. But we rank around the 48th state in education. Some schools have a 55% drop out rate in high school. I don't mind paying for education but we're throwing money into the wind. Also hear the Unions have the Democratic legislators in their pocket. If they don't do what they want they won't finance their next election and the Teachers Union is a huge powerful lobby group. The few Reps we have here are sticking to their pledge of no more taxes. Bless them because we're already one of the highest taxed states in the nation.

And then the second highest expenditure is welfare. We do not even follow federal law which has a time limit on how long people can collect welfare. Illegals can collect that is they have American born children....anchors!

This state needs tough love but don't see that happening unless more and more middle class Americans continue to leave the state until only Hollywood and illegals are left.

At least perhaps the other states can learn from the disaster in California, that is the most positive thought I can think of right now.

Just what is it about illegals that make them so attractive to the politicos?
1- They don't pay taxes.
2-They don't vote.
3-They are pissing off the people who do pay taxes and vote.

Illegals cost CA over $10 billion a year, about the same amount as our budget deficit.

Since illegals are included in the census and the carving up of political districts, they don't have to vote to help the pols get elected.

Also the big campaign contributors love illegals.
