Illegal immigrants should start revolutions in their own countries

In considering an issue like illegal immigration it is helpful to hear from the other side. Some of us Americans do understand Spanish, and what we hear is surprising. This week I tuned to 1150-AM (La Buena Onda) and heard the speaker compare ‘undocumented persons’ to slaves. He quoted Jean-Paul Sartre as saying it was worse for the slave if he doesn’t recognize his own status as a slave. Spanish-speaking illegal aliens need not feel out of place in the U.S., because Spanish TV, radio, on-line and print media offer a version of American prosperity in a Latino flavor. As time goes on, illegals become resentful that they are not full-fledged American citizens, as prosperous and sophisticated as the people portrayed in the commercials. Persuaded that they must be slaves, they demand that American society incorporate them with a full amnesty (a mere 12 to 20 million persons). What could show more chutzpah than for people who totally disregard American sovereignty and law by their own invasion, who steal identities and cheat the law in a multitude of ways, to perceive themselves as the pitiful slaves worthy of liberation? Their revolutions should take place in their native countries against their own enslaving governments. By the way, they eagerly look forward to Democrat rule and their impending legitimacy.
