    Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla., a Cuban-born immigrant who helped craft immigration bills in 2006 and 2007 that ultimately died, will be one of the conference’s main speakers...Ray Marshall, the secretary of labor under President Carter, will open the conference Wednesday with a speech. During that administration, he worked at pushing immigration as an issue.
    I believe Robert Rector will be partcipating, but it seems that those who believe in amnesty for illegal aliens outnumber those who believe in enforcing immigration law and no amnesty. If anyone has background info on other participants, I would be interested in seeing this.
