    Thanks, Populist.

I just spent the last 2 hours listening to Nate Shelman's radio show. His guest was Rep. Raul Labrador and they were talking about Jorgenson's bill. Now dig this. Labrador is an Idaho state legislator, but he's also an immigration attorney. He admitted right on the show that he defends illegal aliens who are trying to stay in this country instead of being deported, and that he represented employers who hire illegal aliens. The callers fried him. He didn't have even one friendly call. One guy ask what district he represented, and when Labrador told him, the caller said he hoped his constituents were listening and would be smarter next election. He blasted him for representing illegal aliens and the employers who hire them. One lady called in and said she was glad she had to wait to get on because it gave her time to calm down. She called Labrador out on his statement that Americans won't do the ag and dairy jobs in the area. The lady told him she lived right in the middle of the ag and dairy jobs and in all the years she's lived there, she'd never seen any one of those businesses advertise for workers. Truckers were calling in and just giving him hell, and so were construction workers who couldn't get a job. I will post the podcast when it comes up and hopefully you guys will get to hear it. I can't remember all the stuff that was said, but Nate said to him, "Boy, I'll bet you wished you hadn't come on this show, because there hasn't been much love in the phone calls," or something like that. I'll bet that jerk won't win another election.

Sounds like Labrador just tied his own rope!

I tried to listen a bit yesterday online and I just couldn't get a good enough block of time to REALLY sit and listen so if you get some time please post the audio.

You are SO lucky to live in such a conservative state!

    ALERT!!!PLEASE HELP THESE STATES!!!

    IDAHO:

Bill: S1155 A bill that would suspend licenses for businesses that knowingly employ illegal immigrants and makes e-verifiy mandatory for all business, will not go forward...This bill written and introduced by Senator Jorgenson took the first step in the process in the State Affairs Committee where it passed unanimously. However, Chairman of the State affairs Committee Sen. Curt McKenzie has thrown the bill in his desk drawer and stated this bill is not going anywhere....so much for due process.

We need to call, e-mail, and fax the following members and DEMAND they force Mc Kenzie to remove bill No. S 1155 from his desk drawer and continue forward with the democratic process so this can become law, finish the peoples business and stop stalling. It is what the citizens in Idaho expect of our legislatures...

    TAKE ACTION HERE!

    COLORADO

Bill SB09-170 is still alive in the Senate - this is the bill that would give in-state tuition to illegal aliens who can not even legally work in our country. It is important for you to call and email the Senators listed below. Tell them to kill this anti-American bill. It is not fair to give tuition breaks to those illegally in the United States when citizens in Colorado can not even afford to send their own children to college.

Okay, guys, it's working. Senator Jorgenson just called me to say that Senator Curt McKenzie approached him today and said he's been bombarded with phone calls and emails. He's promising Senator Jorgenson that he will push that bill through for sure next year. Personally, I think he's just saying that to get the heat off. I told Senator Jorgenson that we needed that bill this year because we don't want illegal aliens getting the jobs created with the stimulus money, and we have too many idahoans out of work. I don't thnk we should let up until we see that bill go to hearings. Senator Jorgenson suggested that we hammer the rest of the Senate and the House. I will post the rest of the names and contact info as soon as I get it together.

Push on, Patriots! We're beginning to see signs of winning!

Ok Tiny, thanks for the update. If you list some names and e-mails of senators we should focus us, we can concentrate on them.

Thanks, populist. The main focus is on the 9 committee members so they can put pressure on Chairman Mckenzie to let this bill be heard in hearings. At this link:
