The Obama administration released illegal immigrants who went on to commit more crimes, including charges of 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, the House Judiciary Committee said in a report Tuesday.

All told, the nearly 47,000 illegal immigrants the administration was notified of but declined to deport between 2008 and 2011 under its Secure Communities program had a recidivism rate of 16 percent, the committee said.

They were just part of the nearly 160,000 immigrants — most of them here legally — who were flagged by Secure Communities during the three year period but who were either not eligible to be deported or who the administration decided to release. Those immigrants went on to be charged in nearly 60,000 more crimes, according to the committee and the Congressional Research Service, which issued a report on the matter.

The findings stem from the Obama administration’s Secure Communities program, which was designed to identify immigrants who run afoul of the law and who the administration decides it wants to deport.

While hundreds of thousands have been sent back home under the program, 159,286 were not put in deportation proceedings during the period under review, CRS said.

About three quarters of those weren’t eligible for deportation because they were legal immigrants and their criminal records didn’t rise to the level of deportation, though nearly a quarter could have been deported, CRS said.

Those who could have been deported but were released later went on to commit the 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, the Judiciary Committee said.

“The Obama administration could have prevented these senseless crimes by enforcing our immigration laws,” committee Chairman Lamar Smith said. “But President Obama continues to further his anti-enforcement agenda while innocent Americans suffer the consequences. His unwillingness to enforce immigration laws puts our communities at risk and costs American lives.”

Obama claims that the government is responsible for everything good. He tells business owners that "they didn't build that" He claims the government built and created everything! Obama is the first to step up and claim his government is responsible for building every business in America but he mistakenly takes credit.

However, when he is DIRECTLY responsible for the deaths of 19 Americans because of his executive policy decisions it's miraculously NOT his responsibility. The real problem is that to reach this goal the agency is being pressured so much that the agents are just trying to fill the numbers instead of actually keep the United States citizens safe.
You see, it is much easier and faster to finish up the paper work to deport illegals that that have committed simple violations such as reentering the country after being deported. It takes much more time to get a murderer or rapist deported. So, in order to meet their goal, agents have been deliberately avoiding the "hard" cases and have been focusing on enforcing the "easy" ones.

This is Obama's idea of immigration reform; cook the numbers by allowing the hardened murderers and rapists go free! The Obama administration is directly responsible for crimes against American citizens! They must be held accountable!

"Prosecutorial discretion for DREAMers is solely based on the individual's claims. Our orders are if an alien says they went to high school, then let them go; if they say they have a GED, then let them go. Officers have been told that there is no burden for the alien to prove anything. Even with the greatly relaxed new policies the alien is not even required to prove that they meet any of the new criteria. At this point we don't even know why DHS has criteria at all, as there is no requirement or burden to prove anything on the part of the alien. We believe that significant numbers of people who are not DREAMers are taking advantage of this practice to avoid arrest." said Crane.

George McCubbin, the president of the AFL-CIO-backed National Border Patrol Council, said Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano's claim that the border is more secure than ever are downright untrue.

Agents have tried to plead their case with the Administration, but attempts have fallen on deaf ears. "We've spent the last three-and-a-half years trying to work with this administration from Director Morton to Secretary Napolitano, who won't meet with us," Crane said. "We've actually been to the White House and tried to talk to those folks -- and, basically, they don't want to hear our concerns. They don't want to work with us at all."

16 Percent of Illegal Alien Criminals Re-arrested

Thousands of violent crimes are being committed by criminal aliens who have been ARRESTED BUT THEN RELEASED BACK INTO THE POPULATION.

This week, the Congressional Research Service released a report showing that the federal policy of releasing criminal aliens back into the population, as opposed to deporting them promptly, has created a virtual alien crime wave across America.

Naturally, most illegal immigrants do not pose a criminal threat. But now we know that the "catch-and-release" program has aided thousands of criminals.

The shocking revelation from this official government report are: criminal aliens (legal as well as illegal) have committed over 4,000 "major crimes" like murder, rape, assault, and kidnapping in the past four years. The released aliens also committed 8,500 DUIs, over 6,000 drug violations, and 3,000 thefts. Other crimes committed by the released aliens: lynching, child molestation, stalking, and torture. The aliens committed over 57,000 crimes in all!

You're probably asking, "Why is the government releasing criminal aliens it has already captured?" The answer is that the Obama administration has been extremely slack in immigration enforcement. Local police automatically submit fingerprints of arrested persons to the FBI to check against federal databases. If the criminals are found to be illegal aliens, police are required to hold them for 48 hours, till ICE picks them up. What happens? No one shows up to pick up the aliens.

ICE union president Chris Crane told reporters last week that "catch and release" was now being worsened by Obama's DREAM Amnesty decree. "Officers have been told that there is no burden for the alien to prove anything," Crane explained. "Our orders are if an alien says they went to high school, then let them go," he stated.

So, catch and release has several causes: too few detention beds, reluctance to deport younger illegal aliens, occasional lack of cooperation by local officials, general disinterest by everybody. The bottom line is that criminal aliens often walk. The aliens are supposed to appear at hearings later to begin their deportation process. But of course, most never show up. The first place many actually appear is in the pages of newspapers, after they have shot, stabbed, robbed, raped, driven drunk, or stolen property.

   There is no excuse for allowing known illegal aliens--especially those who've committed crimes--to remain in the U.S. There's even less for ordering local police to release criminal aliens who are under arrest.
