Thread: John McCain, Illegal Aliens, and God

From his bag of tricks for converting right-thinking conservatives into Republican leftists, John McCain has injected God, love, and compassion into the non-stop wrangling about amnesty for as many as 38 million illegal aliens.

During a recent debate in St. Petersburg, Florida, McCain said the following, in part:


"We need to sit down as Americans and recognize these are God's children as well. And they need some protection under the law; they need some of our love and compassion."

In other words, Americans who believe in law and order and other right wing foolishness are the problem. A spike of God, love and compassion is needed to overcome this fetish with American sovereignty, rule of law, and other outmoded notions.

As is the case with most liberals, McCain comes down on the side of the criminals, and says to hell with the victims.

Of course, McCain does have a point:

Illegal aliens are God's children.

But so are bank robbers, murderers, rapists, and terrorists.

But illegal aliens are good hearted, hard working people with traditional family values, not bank robbers or terrorists, right?

To which I ask: How in the hell do you know what they are, since none have been subjected to criminal background checks?

Whether they number 12 or 20 or 38 million, the point is that there is a huge population of people from third-world nations who have invaded America and about whom we know nothing!

Advocating a path to citizenship for such people is stupidity at best, treason at worse.

Furthermore, since when did being one of God's children entitle anyone to ignore the borders and immigration laws of another nation? And to steal public services to which they are not entitled?

Despite John McCain's ineloquent attempt to exploit God, love and compassion, the fact is that illegal aliens are criminals who deserve to be prosecuted and deported.

All the world's people are God's children. But does that mean America has to take in everybody? IMPOSSIBLE. John McCain really needs to retire. And Obama and Hillary need to get out of the race too. We need to start all over again with new candidates. PRAY FOR A MIRACLE.

I am sick of hearing about how we should have compassion for those who broke our laws. I'm tired of DIRTY politicians trying to make Americans feel guilty for WANTING OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS ENFORCED!!!!!!

He threw the DEVIL OUT OF HEAVEN for his actions against him and his kingdom. He doesn't expect any less of us. He may love us all, but he has also PLAINLY TOLD US THAT THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO OUR ACTIONS! If YOU CROSS the borders of the United States ILLEGALLY... this is a CRIME and there are consequences to pay!!! That is if our ELECTED POLITICIANS would HAVE THE ...GUTS... TO DO THEIR JOB!!!!

These people who come over here, are we suppose to support them and give to them? What about our OWN here in the USA. Since I am politically correct, I am going to state that Mexico is God's country (I got this idea from Kwame Kilpatrick who calls Detroit "God's City").

Since I want what's best for illegal aliens from Mexico, I say it is just and compassionate to send them back to God's Country, where God will take care of them and not the American taxpayer (and job loss victim).

Can you really say I am wrong, McCain?

Yeah I'm sure this schmuck is going to gain favor with God by using his name in vain to promote his own selfish personal agenda much like his friend Bush.

There has to be a limit....what is the limiit? 1 billlion, 2 billion, can they get any more stupid?

Yeah so much for I've heard the voice of the American people and will do what they want. Yeah whatever McCain you lying sack of garbage. That lasted for about what, 2 minutes.

Well said, saveamerica. This is why McCain worries me so much. He is so blind. We just have to keep on fighting for next 4 more years. Sometimes I wonder if my effort is helping at all. What else can I do?
