We keep hearing from Capitol Hill staffers that Senators are under tremendous pressure from well-funded special interests in Washington, D.C. to vote for this terrible bill. And, the Establishment is up to their old tricks. It was just announced that Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS is launching a $100,000 ad campaign promoting the Amnesty bill, which is full of payoffs to corporations and liberal special interests. There is NOTHING conservative about this bill — it was bills like this that led to political defeats in 2006, 2008 and 2012, and it was conservative candidates who ran against bills like this that led to conservative victories in 2010. Tell your Senators to read the bill and vote against S. 744!
Anyone watching Sunday talk shows yesterday can tell you that the Senators supporting the bill clearly have not read it! They need you to tell them what’s in this bill.
