Thread: KEEP TALK RADIO FOCUSED!!

WARNING Because of Sen. Diane Feinstein's comments on Fox News Sunday about reviving the Fairness Doctrine to counter the affects of Talk Radio, talk show hosts and producers have taken their eyes off the prize -- which is killing the Immigration Bill this week in the Senate.

EVERY local talk show in my area and every nationally syndicated show (so far) this morning is leading with the topic of the Fairness Doctrine.

So ... guess what is NOT being discussed? The Immigration Bill.

Feinstein is one my senators and one thing she isn't is dumb. She's WRONG on every issue, but she is not dumb. She has succeeded in getting talk radio off the subject the day before the Immigration Bill comes up.

DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT. Call your local and favorite syndicated shows and tell them to GET BACK TO IMMIGRATION. Even if you don't get on ... TELL THE SCREENER you want the host to get the focus back where it belongs.

I predict Hannity, Limbaugh and your local hosts will NOT be leading with the Immigration Bill. And that is NOT a good thing. Today of all days.

Rush is playing a gag radio spot message of Trent Lott (not really), Lott (the imitator is saying, "We need to deal with problem of talk radio, tune in to something different like a Spanish station to brush up on your Spanish, or just turn it off."

I've listened to parts of several talk radio shows this am (Rick Roberts, Rush and Laura Ingraham), and while they have all spoken about the Feinstein comments, they are also connecting this with and talking about the amnesty bill fight.
