Let's start looking at the House

Let's see what we can SUPPORT in the House. It will be the best way to prevent being in this situation again. Otherwise we will be facing this all over again.

    Good thinking.
I know the House appears to be much more strict on this matter.

How about some cheaper ways to secure the border? I have already posted a few ideas on another thread.

Would a K-9 corps be effective--train them to sniff tortillas?
How about a maternity ward--on the Mexican side?

There is a very cheap and effective method, but Dixie doesn't like me saying it.

Remember, the STRIVE Act in the House could be moved on at any time, depending on the level of stupidity of the House leadership.

We also need to be watchful for any attempts to slip parts of the STRIVE or Senate bill as amendments into other legislation in either the House or Senate. Kennedy has attempted to do this before, for example, slipping SPP provisions - "BINATIONAL health care and health infrastructure (for Mexico) -into the Minimum Wage bill as an amendment.

And, the Senate bill is not necessarily dead.

With the NAU/SPP agenda coming before Congress in a couple months, you can bet these psychopaths will not rest.
