List of Republicans voting for Sotomayor?

    Friends,

They may vote today on Sotomayor and Im reading articles that say 5-6 Republican Senators plan to vote for Sonia Sotomayor.

Can anyone get us a list of those Reps quickly please?

Texas2step made this note at the bottom of this post
Sen. Kit Bond (R-MO), who like Sotomayor is a Princeton graduate, has announced he will vote for her confirmation. I believe that now makes 7 Republicans who have announced "For": Lugar, Martinez, Snowe, Collins, Graham, Alexandar, and Bond.

Does everyone agree that the list is Lugar, Martinez, Snowe, Collins, Graham, Alexandar, and Bond.

Or should McCain and Mcconnel be added to this list?

Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., the minority leader, countered that Sotomayor fails the test of impartial justice, despite her impressive story and distinguished background.

WASHINGTON, July 18 (UPI) -- U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., says he will oppose Judge Sonia Sotomayor's bid to join the Supreme Court, even as other GOP lawmakers have endorsed her.
