Lone Protester- We Lose Either Way

Lone Protester- We Lose Either Way
    10/20/08

When have the stakes for a presidential election ever been higher? We have two candidates whose personal agendas matter more than the future of the American republic. One choice is the most liberal member of the Senate who believes that taxing the rich will create jobs and wealth for the lower classes through vastly extended social programs. Personally I think it will create another mass exodus of American businesses to foreign shores and we the people will have to fight even harder with for the few jobs that are left. Amnesty will be declared, the welfare system will quadruple in size and happiness will reign throughout the land because everyone will be required to wear rose colored glasses.
Standing in the other corner is his opponent, a politician that would rather cross the aisle and work closely with his friends there than espouse the conservative values that Ronald Reagan made great. This man reaches out to Joe the plumber for his vote telling us that he will stand beside the middle class and forgets that old Joe is in construction and that that industry has 75% illegal alien employment courtesy of his actions on immigration reform the past couple years. Again, amnesty will be passed, welfare will quadruple but this time you don’t get to wear the rose colored glasses because the government will not be able to afford them.
This election couldn’t be more important because both these characters are promising a chicken on every plate, including the illegals’ plates but they are forgetting there is not going to be any money left in the treasury to pay for it. Therefore our great-great-great grandkids will have to pick up the tabs for this one because the next three generations are needed for the mess they have gotten us in so far. To tell you the truth, I read somewhere that someone nominated Mickey Mouse and I second the motion because that way we can laugh and sing as we dance over the cliff edge. Scrooge McDuck can be his running mate and they can base their platform on buying up all the subprime mortgages because Scrooge is a zillionare and five or six trillion won’t bankrupt him like it will America.
This is the election where we finally switch to a socialistic monarchy instead of a constitutional government. This time around the American people are going to be paying the piper big time for their neglect of Washington’s activities the last few years. After this election the rest of the Constitution is finally going to be ran through the paper shredder that the CEO’s on Wall Street are currently using. Lady Liberty will be melted down and sold at the scrap yard because copper is bringing premium prices these days and the money will be needed for more social programs. This time around the constitution of the USSR can be adopted because most of our politicians ignore our’s anyway. That way all American citizens can become wards of the state and all the millions of amnestied illegal aliens can finally have a lock on the few jobs that are left.
This is an election to end all elections and it probably will. Just imagine, in 2010 and 2012 all campaigns can be discontinued and the money saved can be applied to even more social programs needed for the rest of the Hispanic world that will be continually streaming into the country. We can finally do away with social security because the money can be more effectively used to fund new businesses since most of the old ones will have since flown the coop. With what little money is left maybe we can build a eight lane highway through Central America to ease the movement of the new citizens coming in. Like I said this is an election to end all elections and I do not want anything to do with it.
