Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

    William

I am not good at posting vids but I will try to get the transcript and post it

The segment had to do with allowing in legal immigrants and the backlog
that won't allow the immigration service to process enough green cards the correct way , So the immigration service has decided to pass on backround checks until some later date and time and just issue the cards

Lou clearly stated that no immigrant should have to wait and the govt
wasn't doing its job by making them wait

I realize that there is a gray area between legal and illegal immigration and
this country welcomes legal immigration , but where do we draw the line?In case you have never been to Nevada , Vegas was a town of about 400,000 people in 1980 , now it has almost 2 million people and a huge majority of them are immigrants , both legal and illegal ,
In 1980 Lake Mead was on overflow and they had to open the floodgates to let out water
Now it is a mud puddle , and will go dry in less than 10 years ,

How many more do we let in ?

The segment I saw sounded like Lou said anyone should be able to
come in here and our govt should have the resources to process them

I believe lou said something to the affect that they must be giving out to many green cards if they can not do the proper backround check they are suppose to do.

    hummmmm,

"Populism is a political doctrine or philosophy that proposes that the freedom of a citizenry is being exploited through an unbalance of political power favoring a privileged elite class, and supports their struggle to regain a balance of power."

by this old definition I'm probably a populist.

I was watching Lou Dobbs today and did not catch exactly what he said to the question that usanevada poses. The transcript will be the best way to clarify what was said.

    2 Chronicles 7:14
    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Count me in too. The media has made populism out to be some form of radicalism, when it is actually the opposite of radicalism.

    I just replayed that segment.

Lou did not say "let them in". That statement was made by Bill Tucker about the Department of Homeland Security and USCIS. It's as if DHS is saying "let them in" by not doing those backlogged background checks.

Lou was furious with DHS for doing that.
