Mexican Hypocrisy

I was watching the FIFA World Cup game, today, between Iran and
Mexico. The commentators were saying that there is a controversy in
Mexico, presently, about the makeup of Mexico's National team. It
seems the majority of Mexican citizens and even some of the Mexican
players, are outraged that several of the players, accepted onto
their national team, are NATURALIZED MEXICAN CITIZENS.

THEY FEEL THAT ONLY "REAL MEXICANS"…OR MEXICAN BORN CITIZENS SHOULD
BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT MEXICO IN THE WORLD CUP OF SOCCER.

HOW STUPID IS THAT?

THIS IS WHY, DESPITE A GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT (GDP) MATCHING CANADA…
THE MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION LIVES BELOW PROPERTY LEVEL.

WHEN THE ENTERED THE TOP OF THE AZTEC PYRAMID TEMPLE….THE STEPS AND
PEDESTAL SACRIFICIAL BLOCK WAS "BLACKENED" BY DRIED BLOOD!

CORTEZ AND HIS MEN, COULD NOT STAY INSIDE FOR LONG….FOR GAGGING FROM
THE ROTTEN SMELL OF HUMAN DECAY….OVER THE YEARS…AND ENDED UP FLEEING

I do not believe that about the Anasazi there is evidence that they were themselves cannibals because of bones with knife marks on them but no evidence to show they were eaten by the Aztecs.. No one knows what happened to them it is a mystery that has never been solved, they just disappeared. It is generally thought that drought was the reason.
I have no respect for the government of Mexico but you are painting with a pretty broad brush. My main problem with Mexico is with the tidal wave of illegals and the fact that their government is comprised of takers. There is zero reciprocity for all that we have done.

yeah there was a lot of outrage, but the Mexican coach LaVolpe is from Argentina and has be coaching for a few years. One of the best players on the Mexican team was not selected this year for harrasing the players so he is suffering the consequences for being so closed minded. It was mainly PR and is not really heard of anymore in Mexico. This is considered trivial news, mainly seen on the gossip shows in Mexico, my mother watches them and my grandmother in Mexico makes sure we know the latest gossip, including the stuff about the players. So this is a view not seen by all Mexicans.

From what I can see about most of these soccer games, about all they are good for is to have a big fight at the end of them with people getting trampled, maimed, or killed in the stands or out in the streets, rioting, just anything for an excuse in these countries for people to lose their self-control and just let it all hang out! A bunch of crap to me with everything happening all over the world and people fighting over such a stupid game!

I couldnt agree more.

If you want to gain a REAL appreciation of Mexican hypocrisy just take a gander at THEIR immigration laws.

One can be a hard worker AND a cannibal I guess.

I understand this is about history, the history of a violent culture that the Spanish tried to eradicate. Not many modern people in that country could imagine, or maybe even know of this part of their history, and would blanch at the thought that some of their ancestors did this.

However, if we were to look at it this way (bear with me as I am no anthropologist). Many ancient cultures had violent tendencies. They warred, killed, maimed and ate each other, and on like that. Some were Asian cultures, but most were native cultures of the Americas.

Most of the people have turned away from this kind of violent lifestyle, but some in these cultures have kept a foot hold in the past, romanticizing if you will, about their "great, strong, powerful ancestors", not wanting to see the reality of their horrifying previous culture. Thus they begin to move backwards, in order to regain what they see as a glorious time for their people, thinking that this makes them powerful now.

Look at WWII. Japan had always been a fairly violent culture. They were fairly aggressive. This was stopped when we bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Now their elderly people teach the children that they should never be like this again, but love peace instead.

Mexico too needs its day of "awakening", in whatever form the Lord intends (not of our doing). This would be a time when the third world masses down there, and in this country, finally see that their culture is not so great and they need to rethink their violent, base nature.

Too often mankind allows itself to act upon this base nature, living in an overtly unsavory sexual manner and violent. This seems to happen when a nation of people do not want to move forward in the world, become educated and prosper all in the frame of Godly morals.

This is what the whole of Mexico needs. But you cannot force people to want this, all that we Americans can do is to keep out this undesirable culture, and keep our country and ourselves safe from it. Hopefully one day Mexico will be a place it's people can be proud of, one that has moved forward morally and ethically, a country it's people do not want to leave.

To clarify something about this, I believe all of our ancestors at one time were violent towards each other and towards others, many nations and peoples have just come away from it a long time ago.

So for those saying I am trying to say I am targeting non-white cultures, it is not so. It is just that some of these cultures have yet to do what others have accomplished lon ago.

We are still a violent, warfaring people towards one another, nothing has really changed except for our sophistication with our weapons and technology. Basically we are still in the cave man days, minus the fur clothes and bad hair I read this saying somewhere, and I have never forgotten this line, I think it goes like this,
Our tecknology has far exceeded our humanity!
this is so very true, I ain't no bleeding heart liberal either, I still think you have to fight to hold on to what you have or some one (illegal maybe) will come along and take it away from you.
maybe someday our humanity will out manuver our technology, then we might get somewhere until then,
