    Hee's the story

By Lynn Brezosky and Gary Martin
    - Express-News BROWNSVILLE — The Zapata County sheriff Thursday was questioning why a Mexican military helicopter was hovering over homes on the Texas side of the Rio Grande.

It was one of the more jarring incidents of the fourth week of border tensions sparked by drug killings, and rumors of such killings, in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.

Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez said he'd reviewed photos of the chopper flown by armed personnel Tuesday over a residential area known as Falcon Heights-Falcon Village near the binational Falcon Lake, just south of the Starr-Zapata county line. He said the helicopter appeared to have the insignia of the Mexican navy.

“It's always been said that the Mexican military does in fact ... that there have been incursions,â€

When is our Commander-In-Chief going to do his job of protecting this country? It's getting to be a regular thing now for the military of Mexico to enter this country when they want and nothing is being done about it.

Yes, but if we just pass "comprehensive immigration reform" amnesty, everything will be fine.

Don't we also make incursions into Pakistan in the guise of "killing the terrorists"?? Seems a bit hypocritical of us to start complaining about others incurring on our territory lol. But I believe we have every reason to go into Pakistan when necessary. In this situation perhaps Mexico had intelligence about the location of the home of a corrupt border patrol official and wanted to get him??

And exaggeration much? Why would Mexico want war with us. They know they'd lose in a matter hours. They don't have to be smart to figure that one out. Mexico is at war with the drug cartels and they need all the help they can get in the form of technology or else we are pretty much screwed too. And we here have to stop consuming the drugs, it's what's fueling the drug trafficking.

    Mexican Military Incursion In Texas

    Last Updated: Fri, 03/12/2010 - 11:46am

Highlighting the U.S. government’s perpetual failure to secure the southern border, a Mexican military helicopter was photographed by a Texas sheriff this week flying over a residential neighborhood at least a mile into the American side of the Rio Grande.

These sorts of invasions by Mexico’s corrupt military, long on the drug cartel payroll, have been going on for years but the timing of this incursion is especially alarming since it occurred on the same week that Homeland Security officials revealed Mexican drug cartels are rapidly infiltrating federal law enforcement agencies along the southwest border.

Testifying before a U.S. Senate panel, Homeland Security officials said that more than 400 public corruption cases involving federal, state and local enforcement personnel in the crime-infested Mexican border region have been solved in the last two years alone. Additionally, 576 corruption cases were opened in 2009 involving Border Patrol agents.

This makes the repeated Mexican military incursions all the more abominable, especially since U.S. officials know they’re occurring. Last year Judicial Watch obtained Homeland Security records documenting 226 incursions by Mexican government personnel into the United States between 1996 and 2005. Obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, the annual intelligence summaries of “Mexican Government Incidentsâ€

I am going to leave messages this evening with my Congressional lawmakers, asking why the Mexican Military are flying helicopters in the United States. Illegal aliens, drug cartels, terrorists, and the Mexican Military, freely crossing our border.
